Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I am interested in computers. The qualification of the faculty is good, they all have Ph.D. and MTech degrees. College exams are easy to pass as they don't ask outside the class notes.

Class Size: 74Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies do visit our campus to provide internships to students of 3rd and 4th year. Companies such as Wipro, Samsung, etc provide software developer roles to students. Stipend data is not available but as I have known it is quite moderate.

Placement Experience

Students of the 6th semester and onwards become eligible for placements. A lot of big companies visit our campus. From last year's data around 200 offers were made to BTech students. The highest placement was 50 LPA and the average stood at 10 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarships for students with annual income of 1-5 lakhs and students with family income below 1 lakh in academic fees. No remission is applicable on the hostel or mess fees. The college also guides you to take many scholarships provided by the central government.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is not so good and requires a lot of improvement. We have an annual college fest Ougri which happens in October. The classroom is quite basic and lacks modern technologies. Sports meet happens in March every year. The library is small but well-built.

Hostel Facilities

My hostel is a new building and is pretty good. It has all the basic facilities with 24-hour wifi as well. Hostel registration is done on the college website. Mess food is not quite good and requires a lot of improvement.

Hostel Fee: INR 57000 per year

Admission

You have to take admission through Jossa which uses your jee mains rank. The application form is filled out on Jee Main website. The application fee is based on the category of students. Reservation benefit is available for students of different categories.

My College

Placement Experience:

From 3 semester students become eligible for campus placement. The name of the companies which visited are ICICI Bank Newgen Tata digit etc. 85.9% of cse student got placed. The highest package was 42 LPA and average package is 8to 11 LPA. I wanted to start my own company. Our college also provide us the experience by giving us internship opportunity.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we all know IIITs are running on new curriculum. We have lab practicals after completing theory in the classes.the teaching method is good according to me. The exams are too frequent. According to me there should be only one midsem exam instead of 3 assessment .And a end sem exam Midsem and endsem exams are enough according to me.

My Harsh but Real reviews

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cse ongoing trend, that's why taken that. Curriculum syllabus +few more other topics =placement That means the level of your placement depends on your weightage of that few more topics For every semester there will be 3 assignment and one final exam. Few days before exam is enough preparation. The course curriculum should change completely for India not just for us and teaching methods are good for senior professor but not juniors

IIIT MANIPUR , YOU SHOULD OPT. OR NOT?

Placement Experience:

Placements are overall good for CSE departments. Average package is 10-12 lpa,and placement percentage is also about 76 % not all placement are campus based some are off campus placement .This is too less as compased to other IIITs .The placement in ece department is about 8-10 lpa which is also very less compared to other IIITs.

NIT Manipur : Opportunity to the best.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th sem, students become eligible. Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Accenture, Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, and several other companies come. The highest package was around 35 LPA and the average is around 5-6 LPA. Every time 95% of students get placed.

About NIT MANIPUR

I have applied to many private collages like LPU, Paurul univerity , Saastra , vit , klu, vignan , DR. MGR, satyabhama like these many collages. And i got confirmed admission from NIT MANIPUR . By writing JEE mains i got good percentile and kept for councling and NTA has alloted this collage. As it is good collage i also accepted the seat . No i didn't get rejection letter from any institution .so nothing went wrong .
