NIT Manipur Placements 2026 has not been concluded yet. As per the NIRF report in 2023-24 placement drives a total of 101 undergraduate students were placed with a median salary package of INR 7,50,000. Out of 28 qualified PG students only 3 students were placed with the median package of INR 9,60,000.

During the placement drive 2023, a total of 36 recruiters participated and made a total of 147 offers to the graduating students. NIT Manipur's highest placement stood at INR 47 LPA, which was offered by Amazon. The second-highest package was offered by Discover and Edfora. which is INR 27 LPA. Placement Experience:

Campus placements are elgible from 5th semester. Offers of campus placements from companies are usually IT sector companies like Microsoft, Amazon, etc. The highest package is around the range of 25 lakhs. The average package ranges around 6-7 lakhs. Around 70-75% of students gets placement each year. My plans after this degree is to go for civil exams.

My brother is a third-year student of the CSE branch at NIT Manipur and he is preparing for the placements. Despite the fact it is newly established, his seniors’ placement record was quite good.

Here are a few insights into the placement packages at NIT Manipur.

The average salary package offered is usually around 4-6 LPA.
A couple of years ago the highest package was hardly about 10 LPA that too for very selective students. However, it has improved in recent years.
Last year, three students received a package of 17 LPA in BPCL. All three students belonged to different branches namely CSE, Mechanical, and Civil. This is the highest package till now. The second highest package of 10 LPA at Microsoft was bagged by a guy from the CSE branch.

Overall, NIT Manipur has managed to get fairly good packages as compared to other newly established NITs. Although the highest package varies every year, it is never less than 12-15 LPA according to recent years’ placement records.

What would be a better choice in terms of placements: SRM Kattankulathur (IT) or NIT Manipur/Mizoram/Sikkim (CS)?
