Course Curriculum Overview

The course is quite balanced between practical and theoretical skills. Faculty members are all well qualified with PhD and Masters degrees. Faculty to student ratio is about 1:40. Term exams are moderate.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Some companies visit our campus for internships such as Samsung, Veritas, Cognizant, etc. Projects are mostly based on web development, android developer, IoT, Database management, etc. Stipends are quite good which ranges between 30k to 60k Rs per month.

Placement Experience

Students can appear for placements from the semester. A lot of tech giants such as Amazon, Microsoft, Intuit, Samsung, etc visit for campus placements. The highest package of 47 LPA was offered by Amazon and the average package was about 10 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is around Rs 150000 and is quite affordable. Students from different categories get scholarships for tuition fees. Btech students do not get on-campus jobs. Mtech and M.Sc. students do get stipends for their research papers.

Campus Life

The annual fest is known as Ougri. There is a tech fest each year as well. The library is small but has a lot of useful books. Classrooms have new technologies such as smart boards and projectors etc. Sports meet happens every year.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are equipped with a bed, a closet, a table, and a chair. Mess food is average in taste but hygienic. The hostel fee is around Rs 57000 per year. Hostel registration is done on the college website.

Admission

To get admission you need to qualify Jee Main examination. The application form is filled out on Jee's main website. The application fee is Rs 650 for general and OBC candidates. I got a reservation benefit as I am an OBC candidate.

My College

Placement Experience:

From 3 semester students become eligible for campus placement. The name of the companies which visited are ICICI Bank Newgen Tata digit etc. 85.9% of cse student got placed. The highest package was 42 LPA and average package is 8to 11 LPA. I wanted to start my own company. Our college also provide us the experience by giving us internship opportunity.

Placements is growing every year in the college.Avg placement is 8-10 lakhs per annum .Students are also getting internship from third year .In Cse and Ece placement percentage is 100 percentage which is very good

A review of Indian institute of information technology senapati Manipur

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we all know IIITs are running on new curriculum. We have lab practicals after completing theory in the classes.the teaching method is good according to me. The exams are too frequent. According to me there should be only one midsem exam instead of 3 assessment .And a end sem exam Midsem and endsem exams are enough according to me.

My Harsh but Real reviews

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cse ongoing trend, that's why taken that. Curriculum syllabus +few more other topics =placement That means the level of your placement depends on your weightage of that few more topics For every semester there will be 3 assignment and one final exam. Few days before exam is enough preparation. The course curriculum should change completely for India not just for us and teaching methods are good for senior professor but not juniors

IIIT MANIPUR , YOU SHOULD OPT. OR NOT?

Placement Experience:

Placements are overall good for CSE departments. Average package is 10-12 lpa,and placement percentage is also about 76 % not all placement are campus based some are off campus placement .This is too less as compased to other IIITs .The placement in ece department is about 8-10 lpa which is also very less compared to other IIITs.

the placements here are not good like the fee is very high but the average placement are not near to it i.e ROI is very bad also here many students prepare for gate or cat or someone of them who got placements are their own hardwork and patience

NIT Manipur : Opportunity to the best.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th sem, students become eligible. Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Accenture, Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, and several other companies come. The highest package was around 35 LPA and the average is around 5-6 LPA. Every time 95% of students get placed.

About NIT MANIPUR

I have applied to many private collages like LPU, Paurul univerity , Saastra , vit , klu, vignan , DR. MGR, satyabhama like these many collages. And i got confirmed admission from NIT MANIPUR . By writing JEE mains i got good percentile and kept for councling and NTA has alloted this collage. As it is good collage i also accepted the seat . No i didn't get rejection letter from any institution .so nothing went wrong .
