I have Choosen NIT SIKKIM because of wrong counseling. But Now I am enjoying the cold weather of Sikkim. Placements Statistics of my college is very high, if we compare with NITS. I have opted Electronics and Communication Engineering because, I have very much interest in electronic devices, when I was in class 12, I was always thinking , how this mobile phone is made , How this hard drive made . How we can improve.

I will answer it in branch wise scenario:
1. CSE: institute treats them like how every son in law is treated in indian family. Usually gets placed. Most companies come for them. 2. ECE: Jon snow in stark family (if you have watched GOT then you will get this). Only hope is uncle benjin(intel) who takes him to night's watch(job)
3. EEE: only one word: POWERGRID
4. civil and mechanical: placements for them is like finding oasis in desert. You get it only when you are lucky.

First negative point is that our institute does not have permanent campus. And second faculty and infrastructure is not that good. Lot of rains also in time of monsoon season. Our campus connectivity is also very bad, no nearby railway station or any airport

Remarks:
One negative remark is the location of the college, it is located a small hill station named Ravangla. The weather is very cold here and it gets chilly in winters, dropping to zero degree Celsius.
The positive remark is that the institute is growing in all fields since it's inception in 2010.
The students have started to set a mark by achievement in national level examination and competitions.

Remarks:
According to me its positive and good college @Nit sikkim.
Negative Remark one and only one is high sharing of rooms and food is not up to mark in institute mess for adjustable to students other than north east.

Fee structure is a little bit expensive. For Mtech college semester fee is 47000 per semester. Admission semester fee is 58000. The mess fee is 18000. And it doesn't provide WiFi for outside campus hostel.

Positive earlier is since this college is new, u have lot of thing to learn here since the vevery new thing is to be done by students only. Also the weather is quite gud for self study.
Negative point is the reach here it is very tiresome and hectic

Remarks:
Negative is that we have very less space as compared to other colleges. We don't have our permanent campus and the temperature is also very low even in summer season. But yes the positive thing is that due to less number of students the teacher gives attention to each and every student. Hope the matter shared by me is and will be helpful to you.

JEE MAINS entrance exam conducted by NTA ( FORMERLY CBSE) AND counseling conducted by josaa ( josint seat allocation athority ). After JEE main JEE advanced is conducted by IIT for admission in IIT.
