Fee structure like per semester for the general student is approx 60 k per semester and 2/3 rd of the people having less than 5 lakh family income and for sc st or the family income below 1 lakh getting a tuition fee is not applicable. NSP scholarship and many sc st schorship provided when students externally.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Total fees without any exemption is Rs 141086 per annum for Btech course where as college also provide the exemption in fees depending on the annual family income if less than 1 lakh then the total fees is around Rs 16k per annum and if annual family income lies in between 1 lac to 5 lac then total annual fees is around Rs 70k. Total fees include tuition fees which is exempted for SC/ST students and students whose annual family income is less than 1 lac for rest of the students it varies as per the annual family income if more than 1 lac and less than 5 lac then annual tuition fee is Rs 41668 and if annual family income is more than 5 lac then it is Rs 125000 annualy. Other fees included in total fee is examination, library, laboratory, internet, mediacl OPD, insurance and Training and placement fee which is in the range of Rs 500 to Rs 1000 annualy. Institute also provide scholarships for meritorious students, Some of the scholarships provided are Nation Scholarship Program(NSP), SDEF Scholarship Program, Some scholarships for SC/ST Candidates and state scholarships for students of their respective native state.

Great academic experience

Fee Structure And Facilities:

Our college's pricing structure was 69000 for the course which I had opted, 8700 for hostel fees, and 18000 for mess fees, totaling roughly 108000. There are also certain scholarships available for sc st students, which provide a great deal of stability for their families. There are additional scholarships available for students to improve their skills and expertise.

Do I need to stay in hostel as a BTech student in South Sikkim?

It is compulsory for a B.Tech. student to stay in NIT South Sikkim Hostel. There are total 10 hostels in South Sikkim. Students are compulsorily staying in NIT hostels of India except NIT Suratkhal.
