The college provides strong support for student career growth through its dedicated faculty and various competitions. In terms of placements, the college offers an average package of 3-4 LPA, with the highest reaching 8.5 LPA in 2023. However, placements have seen a decline, with some offers as low as 1-2 LPA. Students can participate in campus placements after the 6th semester, with companies like TCS, Cognizant, Deloitte, and Wipro, as well as startups, taking part.

Although the number of placed students has increased, it remains low. The placement cell is proactive in securing internships, with top students landing positions at prestigious organizations such as ISRO and Google. Companies like Capgemini and Accenture also offer internships. The institute charges approximately INR 25,000 per semester, totaling INR 60,000 annually for BTech programs. West Bengal students can benefit from a scholarship of around INR 60,000 per year, effectively covering tuition costs.

Other fees include a semester exam fee of INR 1,200 and hostel fees of INR 9,000 per semester. Despite an increase in total fees from INR 450,000 in 2021 to INR 600,000 for later batches, government schemes and credit options help maintain affordability. The college also encourages student participation in hackathons and coding contests, which offer rewards and prizes.
