I choose the subject because of the present demand of English language of this modern society. All over departmental activities are more or less good enough but the teachers are not close to all the students to hear their all problems.

In our college from 6th semester students are eligible to sit for placement campus. In my time TCS and Infosys visited our college and more than 15 students got chance out of 50. They are giving average 2-3 LPA package and the highest package is 6-7 LPA more than 20% students are getting placements. After my masters degree I will go for corporate job.

• I didn't take science after 10th. So I was reading in atrs or humanities. After my 12th my parents had made the decision to admit me with English. English is the language which is very important to learn now a days. And if I don't get a govt or private job, I have the opportunity to teach one of the most prioritised subject to children. • Yes English help me to read & right so many things in everywhere & it helps to communicate with other people who does not speak my mother language. And we can learn so many things by studying English literature (i.e : different arts movements, feminism, foreign culture, law, religion of different times etc.). • If I talked about the course & examination, then I will tell it is very difficult to read everything in a particular time & write the exam. And we face another difficulty to understand everything in English as it is not our mother tounge. Teachers have to be more friendly to teach us beautifully.

This university had a campus near my home so I chose it. The main campus is not something that I was looking forward to travelling to since it is a long way from Kolkata. The classes were held only on Sundays and since I was working also this was an added benefit. The staff was helpful and some professors too. Most of all the head of the DEpartment made sure that our batch was up to date with anything happening in regards to the department including holidays, examinations and class cancellations.

I found this college to be a perfect package of knowledge & various activities which gave me a overall development of my personality and career as well. I think our college just need to focus little bit on the better placements for the meritorious students.

For pursuing Post graduation students never have to appear in any entrance examination. I passed my graduation from this college in the English department securing 65% of marks and hence choose this college for postgraduation as well.

Our teachers are like Guru to us. We are like a family. The department is called as the Royal Department in our university. The two years is enough to miss through all our life time. The best memories we built here. And we got some friends who are like oxygen to our breath.

There are so many students who qualify iit and net two students are qualified in national championship. Many students are outside India by taking facility from this college quitz competition and internship examination is very good.

Positive remarks are that its study process is very good, teachers are friendly and helpful... Seniors behave well to the students... College extra caricular activities are also pretty good.. Negetive remark is that it is far from urban areas.
