Remarks:
Under Faculty of Agriculture you have got 16 different Departments. In UG course you have to go through all the subjects that come under this Faculty. After completing B.Sc. many doors become opened which you can opt for. Most of the people think there's nothing interesting in this course, it's like below the standard and all, most surprisingly they treat us as if we are becoming future farmers of the society. Jokes apart, if you think by taking this course you can somehow avoid your subjects of less interest like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, etc. then I would tell you it's an amalgamation of all subjects. Agriculture is the only course where you'll have to grow your knowledge in Biochemistry, Maths, Physics, Economics, and a lot of other sibjects. And a lot of jobs are there for you even after completing B.Sc. course.
You can apply for MBA course like Rural Management, etc; apply for SSC, WBCS, UPSC exams; apply for jobs in Banks, private sectors, sit for JRF; apply for jobs in IFFCO, apply for ADA exams, etc.
A variety of options are waiting for you as soon as you complete your B.Sc. honours.
