MY COLLEGE AND ITS FACILITIES

Likes

my experience is too good as my college is situated in Haridwar which has its own beauty rather than that my college has good campuses and open gym facilities .
Greeneries in my college attracts me a lot as our professors and their helper always help them to make our college greener .
Campuses near the hostel has a museum in it which creates a unforgettable place to deal with its a very peaceful place and knowledge tank we can say

Dislikes

In our campuses many of the people have their home that thing i dont like because they can also enter without any permit .
FET locations from hostel are too far because of which we have to go to our college by using bus which causes harassment .
I don't like the mess food. MESS food quality is too bad no one can tolerate this kind of food .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Its environment friendly behaviour, Education and Gate rank especially helps me to choose this college . They helps in tackling real life applications by teaching us about the real life situation sometime by seminar hall 3-D representation and sometime by robotic club and sports activities . Some professors are the student of my college only their teaching attitude is not so good they should replace. Difficult questions are not there in the exam if you have gone through the lecture then you can easily solve all the questions . 3hrs. is the timing set in the semester exam

I like the teachers all teachers are very supportive
The nature of teachers are very good and love to learn with them
The teachers are very good and I can learn a lot from them

Dislikes

The unwanted rules and regulation of the hostel.
The quality of the beds and the table and chair is not good.
Hostel facility is less and have good infrastructure.

I m interesting in technology that's why I have applied for cs . I like to learn new things so I m a quick learner and love to do many thing for my community and I am contributing in open source , I like computer science

Safe, Peaceful Environment but Limited Social Life After Hours

the faculty members were quite experienced. faculty member are very supportive. some professor had strong industry and academic knowledge.
the college had good infrastructure- fully equipped computer labs, WI-FI, a central library and good classroom. the canteen served good food. and there were sports facilities like basketball and football ground.
the curriculum was fairly aligned with current trends in the industry subjects like AI, cloud computing and full stack development are available as electives. self-learning and online platform ( like NPTEL) were essential

Dislikes

the placement cell is underdeveloped, with very few core company visiting campus
there is minimum interaction with industry professionals
Entrepreneurship and startup culture is nearly absent on campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum of my college provides a decent academics base but lacks modern relevance and industry alignment. ideal for who wants to go for higher education not for who targeting high tech company. the syllabus needs an overhaul with more electives, practical exposure and collaboration with industry experts.

Hard life at gurukula kangri vishvidyaly

Likes

Teacher are good and supportive, they are very helpful.
Senior are supportive to their juniors in every field.
Campus is beautiful, neat and clean. Everything is neat and clean.

Dislikes

Campus is far from the hostel. And it is far from the main city.
College not based on co-education. It's only boys college.
Their is very less placement, and college campus is also very small.

Placement Experience:

There is very less placement from this college. Only few companies come here. Average package in the placement in computer science and engineering branch is 4-5 lakhs per annum. Only 20-30% of students get placement

My thoughts about FET

Likes

Environment of the college is very good for disciplined students and there is no scope of distraction
I like the supportive nature of college seniors and learning
The college focus on the overall development of a student and the course is also designed for the overall development of a student

Dislikes

Infrastructure of this college is not good and the campus is also very small and far from the hostel
Hostel fees is High in comparison to facility provided
There is no sports for javelin throw, and there is no music club in this college

Placement Experience:

I will try off campus and if I didn't get a job then I will prepare for the government exams and get a government job.In our college a senior get 11 lakh package he was from the Electronics and Communication branch

Better for higher studies

Likes

The college faculties are good and cooperative with you.
College has big ground to play and also have different games equipment with all courts.
The examination way that is conducted in the college .

Dislikes

Regular classes with approx 20 hrs per week.
The building should be maintained and make more good looks.
The college should organized more fests and events.

I am a cse students and in my course, the number of students placed every year is highest. The highest salary offered is 30 lpa and lowest is 3 lpa. The average package is 6-7 lpa. Top companies who recruits our students are Microsoft, IBM, Amazon, Bhel, Honda etc. Top roles are software engineer, data scientist, Frontend developers etc. My plan is to do mtech.

Likes

The most liked thing of this college is the well knowledged and experienced faculty along with innovative workshops and it have maintained classrooms as well as labs
Campus is quite large including many sports ground and resting areas.
This college organized several workshops related to your field.

Dislikes

The disliked thing is that the colour of building is so fade and they didn't work on its infrastructure
Second disliked thing is that they do not organise travel camps
Third disliked thing is that it have no girls at all.

Placement Experience:

Placement records are very well managed by this college team because every year most company visit this college and select students for employment and we can also apply for off campus placement for other companies too.

The professors are very helpful nature .

In Faculty of engineering technology the cafeteria is not good
Gaming activities are limited in this college

This college is government approved college.
This is one of the best GFTI in our country.
In this college teaching style of teacher is very unique.

Dislikes

Girl to boy ratio in this college is very bad.
In this college girls can't take admission.
only boys are allowed to take admisssion.

Placement Experience:

on campus placement of Gurukul kangri vishwavidyalaya is not good.many student go for off campus intunship or placement. average package of computer science engineering student is upto 3 to 4 lpa. college need to improve it.
