Course Description
- Visit the official website of the university and go to the Admissions section.
- Register as a new candidate and then login with the username and password.
- Fill the form carefully and submit after rechecking the details.
- Pay the application fees of INR 300 (INR 120 for SC/ST) through online payment methods.
The documents required are:
- Proof of age certificate
- Transfer / Migration Certificate
- Character and Conduct Certificate
- Proof of passing the qualifying examination
- Two passport size photograph
- Attested copy of MAT score card (for MBA)
- Proof of entitlement for a particular reservation policy
- Domicile Certificate
- Permanent Address Certificate/ Aadhar Card
- Medical Fitness Certificate
- Hostel Admission Form, if required
- Anti Ragging Affidavit
Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to 3 year Full-time Ph.D Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:
Candidate should have passed Masters Degree from a recognized University (established/approved by UGC)with minimum 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade B in the UGC -7.0 scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scade wherever grading system is followed) in the respective subject Environmental Science/Biotechnology/ Microbiology. A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55 to 50 % or an equivalent relaxation of grade may be allowed to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC
Entrance Exam:
The seats will be filled through entrance test. Shortlisted candidates after the written test will be called for interview. The candidates who have qualified UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE/teacher fellowship holder or have passed M.Phil programme are expempted from Ph.D. Entrance Test, however they will be required to appear for Interview. The merit list will be prepared as per the UGC regulations.
