- It has a sports complex- both indoor and outdoor, a large beautiful library, canopies, greenery all over, flower beds, a beautiful lake, and whatnot.
- Notable brands such as cognizant, dell, amazon visit the campus for recruitments and recruit enthusiastically as they trust the snu brand and its ability to attract good talent.
- You want enjoyment, placement,a perfect college life snu is for you.
Dislikes
- It's relatively new hence the alumni network is still developing (not a bad thing) but for the time being there is a limited network
- There is little bit chaos to choose electives.
- Ragging here is completely banned and no senior even dares to do so, but in my opinion some amount of ragging should be allowed as it enhances your bond with the seniors.

Usually after 3rd sem, students star getting internships. And for compaines visiting our college, except amazon (they blacklisted us). Almost every top companies do visit the college.
Highest package was 59LPA, and the average for cse is 12-13Lpa.
99% students get placements.
Many students goes abroad for mtech after graduating from snu, i'd like to do the same but after getting a year or two job experience.

- The sorts facilities are great with well trained coaches. This is great since I play basketball
- The professors are very educated and are good at teaching.
Dislikes
- The hostel has pest due to the biodiversity rk near by.
- The campus is located away from the city which causes issues.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course work is highly relevant and updated. I believe this would be helpful for me since I plan on pursing masters later on. Blthe exams are conducted twice each semester and quizes are conducted regularly.

- Girls to boys ratio is quite good:- 2/3 the ratio is nearly 50-50 in non engineering branches
- To make networks and socilaizing with new people this college is really a good place
- The best thing about the college is its campus, its too new and luxurious.
Dislikes
- Faculty is not that which i have expected...you still have to google for studies
- There is nepotism in entering any of the clubs here, specially entering into tech clubs is too difficult
- Students are involved in alcohol, drugs, smoking and hookups

students at SNU become eligible for campus placements starting of 7th semester(final year of UG).
Companies visiting campus:- top tier companies visit SNU every year, spanning industries like technology, consulting,finance,and core engineering. Prominent recruiters are Google, infosys,TCS,wipro,HCL,EY,KPMG and Samsung.

My plans after graduating:-after completeing my degree, i plan to pursue a career in tech industry, focusing on science and software development, depending on my placement outcome, i may join a reputed company or pursue higher studies.

- The campus infrastructure is beyond beautiful. It is the kind of infrastructure which makes you want to spend more time with nature and out in the open. The campus is home to a variety of plantations and animals.
- The mess food makes sure that you dont miss out on your typical home cooked meal. The mess a heaven for non vegetarians with Chicken available in every meal every day. A midnight meds from 11pm to 2am is also there to cater to your midnight cravings.
- The campus is very lively with one activity or another going on in every corner each day. With over 60 clubs it is impossible to feel lonely in this happening campus.
Dislikes
- The faculty for btech can be a bit rigid at times when it comes to the curriculum. Most of the students end up studying through online resources instead of the lectures provided.
- The placement which is claimed to be good is actually nice but majority of students end up with an average package in some average company. The authority spots the children who they think are doing well and only help them when it comes to placement.
Placement Experience:
The companies start offering placements and ppo from 3rd year onwards.
The university had a Career Development Centre (CDC) that guides you throughout your placement process. CDC sessions are also held every year from first year onwards.
The average ctc offered is 10-11LPA
The Highest ctc offered is: 58.09LPA
The claim to have 100% placements with companies like microsoft, amazon, IBM, Deloitte, McKinsey and other big names.
A lot of students do plan on higher education for future and not appear for the placements.

- The male to female ratio is almost equal with females dominating in some courses.
- Really amazing infrastructure. State of the art labs and sports facilities. Really amazing classrooms.
- High educated PHD professors who know everything about their field.
Dislikes
- Scholarships have been heavily reduced in the past few years.
- Hostel curfew for first year students after 12AM
- Cannot choose my own courses in the first semester.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placements from semseter 6. Top companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, IBM come to SNU. Deloitte, McKinsey, KPMG and such companies also come. Highest package offered is 60Lac while average package is 12Lacs. Our uni offers 100% placement. I plan to go abroad to pursue masters in business administration.

- The environment here is very good,with worldclass facilities. The mess provides a good variety of food with good taste and hygiene.
- SNU has a large well trained staff force who are available 24×7.
- The faculties here are good and well qualified, all of them are living in the campus only,so you can get to them in need
Dislikes
- Its locaton is a little off from the main NCR region having less modes of transport to travel,though they provide university shuttles on weekends to Noida.
- Ragging here is completely banned and no senior even dares to do so, but in my opinion some amount of ragging should be allowed as it enhances your bond with the seniors.
Placement Experience:
From 3rd Year,they are open for internships and placement for which they have a seperate wing named CDC-Career Development Centre,many companies like adobe,goldmansach etc visit. Median package is 12LPA. Around 72% get placement because many opt for higher studies in foreign universities.

- there is no mall or nothing near the campus.

There is a good placement cell in the university. The CDC ensures that almost all get placed with respect to the CSE department. The average package is 12 lakhs and the highest is around 60 lakhs. The other branches too have placements.

- Campus is very beautiful and there are greenery everywhere.
- Mess food is surprisingly good compared to other colleges.
Dislikes
- Fees is too high, not everyone can afford it.
- Connectivity of the college is not good and cabs are also expensive.
- Location of the campus is not good, dadri.
Placement Experience:
The placement of the college is good. The average placement of the college is 15 lakhs but considering 20 Lakhs fees it is very less. Due to the small batch size, there is less competition in the college for placement among students.

- The campus is really pretty. It is very green and beautiful.
- The library is centrally air conditioned and is a very relaxing place to be in.
- The hostels are nice and cute and the meals are also great.
Dislikes
- The placement outcomes are not what you would've hoped for.
- Due to the location, it is very annoying to travel 3 hours to be in central Delhi.
- The curfew of entering the campus by 9PM is annoying at times.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose the course as I had an interest in the subject. Moreover, with the ongoing technological push, it felt like a safe choice.
The student-faculty ratio would be around 1:20
The faculty are mostly PHD doctors having done their degrees from prominent IITs.
The exams strictly follow the academic calendar released at the start of the term and are doable provided you know the material.

- Campus life - Campus life is happening and it feels good to wake up every morning and looking forward to a good day ahead.
- Faculty and placements - CSE faculty is highly qualified and very professional. Average placement is 12 lpa.
- Infrastructure and sports facilities are very good.
Dislikes
- Very few good food restaurants at the campus.
Placement Experience:
I will become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. Tons of good companies visit our campus every year. To name a few, we have Amazon, Amex, Dell, Goldmann Sachs, HP, etc.
The highest package this year is about 55 lpa and the average package is 12 LPA and the median is 11 LPA.
I guess over 90% of students got placed.
I am hoping to get a good placement after getting the degree.

One of my friends attended Shiv Nadar University. She loved the time she spend on campus.
Academics:
The course curriculum and grading system are designed in such a way that, you won’t be able to slack off. The campus seniors have taken a great initiative to decrease the academic load of juniors through the LASC program. Through this program, seniors teach important topics, resolve doubts and also help juniors plan out preparation strategies for examinations.
Ranking:
Shiv Nadar University ranking - It was ranked 84 by NIRF 2021.
Extra-Curricular:
As a student of SNU, you will get to take part in seminars, conferences and meet a lot of delegates. There are also many club activities. You should take part in at least one club during your time on campus.
SNU college fest, BREEZE gets better with each coming year. Friendly intercollege competitions and events are organized by the clubs of SNU.
Hostels:
There are ac and non-ac hostel accommodations. Each hostel has proper housekeeping and trash disposal facilities. Hostels also have laundry services. There are round-the-clock first-aid and medical assistance provided.
Food offered at SNU is good. You can also order in from eateries outside.
Placements:
SNU has a good placement record. During the 2021 placement drive, the average and highest CTC offered was INR 7.82 LPA and INR 24 LPA.
Overall, you can expect to have a good experience at SNU.
