The engineering department boasts well-educated faculty, though the student-teacher ratio needs improvement due to teachers' workload. Students can apply for Pre-Placement Offers in their third year and participate in campus placements during their fourth year. B.Tech placements have been lower compared to other departments, with the highest package at 12 lakh per annum and the lowest at 4 lakh, for a class of 66 students. BCA placements are better, with companies like Tech Mahindra and HCL offering packages up to 10 lakh per annum.
For the 2023 batch, placement opportunities were available, but they were limited for the 2024 batch. The college provides various scholarships and training programs, including the E-Skills Development program, offering stipends up to 6000 rupees and laptops. Special internship programs are available, particularly for female students, with HCL. Although the institution has an MoU with AKTU Labs for development opportunities, internships with major companies like Google and Amazon are limited.
The annual B.Tech course fee is approximately Rs 86,000, with total annual costs including hostel fees around Rs 1,27,000. The UP scholarship provides Rs 60,000 for B.Tech OBC students, with an additional Rs 8,000 for hostel facilities. Total education costs over four years, excluding mess fees, are approximately Rs 3,65,000. Mess charges range from Rs 25,000 to Rs 26,000 annually. Scholarships are available for students from economically weaker sections.
