Indian Institute of Technology's (IIT) are among the top Institutions and premiere autonomous public technical and research universities located across India. Ranking: IIT Bhubaneswar is ranked 11th among the IITs and 22nd among the engineering colleges by NIRF in 2020. IIT Patna Ranked 26th in the engineering category by NIRF in 2020. IIT Mandi Ranked 31st in the engineering category by NIRF in 2020 IIT Jodhpur Ranked 56th in the engineering category by NIRF in 2020. IIT Dhanbad is ranked 12th for engineering and 11th amongst IITs by the NIRF 2020. Whereas IIT BHU is ranked 11th for engineering and 10th amongst IITs by the NIRF 2020. Admission: Electrical or Mechanical Engineering The process for admission is the same for all the IITs. Both are four-year degree programs. Admission in these Institutes are based on their scores in JEE Main and advanced followed by JoSAA counseling. Students need a 75% or above aggregate in their 10+2 exams in the science stream. Candidate appearing for the final examination can also apply IIT BHU Dual Degree It offers a dual degree of a 5-year program in civil engineering. The candidate should have passed 10+2 with the Science stream The candidate should have scored at least 75% The candidate must have a valid score in JEE Advanced Placements: The Mechanical or Electrical Engineering course has a placement rate of almost 80 to 85 percent in all IITs. Every year more than 100 companies visit IITs for placement. The civil Dual-degree Program offered in IIT BHU has a placement rate of almost 74%. It is known for the best placement offers on campus. The average placement package offered in this program is INR 8.56 LPA, with the highest package going up to INR 1.53 crore. For sc ans st course fee is zero , they have to pay only hostel fee and some charges like examination fee, Gymkhana fee , etc For general and OBC it is based on income If family income is more than 5 lakh then you have to pay 100000 course fee per semester And between 1-5 lakh income then you will have to pay 33000 course fee per semester If your family income less than 1 lakh then your course fee will be zero There is no scholarship others than income based division of course fee . Hostel fee be same for everyone for each category.

Fees vary from branch to branch but by small amount only. Fee's are to be submitted before semester starts and is approx. 1lakh 15 thousand as total including hostel, mess food and tuition fee. IIT's charge very less for there hostel and mess. There are a lot of scholarship's also. Our HOD frequently mail us about them. Our fee's also vary on the basis of our parental income. The one I told was when your parental income in above 5lakh. And it vary accordingly.

There has been no hike in the tuition fee since the starting of the college. The mess fee was increased from 12000 to 15000 in the second semester. The complete cost of my education is around 2 lakhs for every year, so around 10 lakhs excluding other expenses. There are many financial aids available for students but they are only available for students with reservation, economically weaker section students, physically disabled students. I have completed an internship at an NGO but I have not undertaken any campus employment yet.

About IITBHU by average person

Tution fees depends upon the category and reservation quota of the student. Scholarships are generally not provide. Campus placement is the best in the country for civil engnieering. People can do internships at various companies of core and non core also. This institute encorages students with good cpi to pursue research by recommendations. The tution fees doesnt increase throughout the course

IIT BHU : BEST EXPOSURE

The fee structure for the whole course is about 10 lakhs including hostel and mess.There is no increase policy in the college .Since it is a national or central level college therefore the fees is not that much as compared to other colleges.Yes there are many scholarship for backward class or for financial bad background. Many Government scholarship also comes.

Academic fees is 106,750 per semester (tuition fees is 1,00,000) and 15000 mess fess per sem for people with family income more than 5 lakhs , and 40,000 for less than 5lakhs and more than 1 lakhs , and 10000 for people with less than 1lakh family income . There are various scholarships like UP scholarship for natives of UP which provides all the money for each semester . Big Companies like Google , Microsoft , amazon , flipkart , jp morgan are invited for campus employment . Highest package for 2023 was 1.4 cr with average stipends around 24 lpa.

Fee structure is based on the annual income of the family and caste. For those students, whose family income is less than or equal to five lakhs and greater than five lakhs has to pay 1/3 of the tution fee (2/3 exempted). For the SC,ST,OBC(NCL) and PWD it is around 25,000. There are many scholarship oppurtunities in our college.

Insights of BHU campus

The fee hike is based on central government policies. MCM (merit cum means) a UG student gets a minimum of 1000/month for 10 months per academic year. For dual degree program students the scholarship is valid until the 4th year only as after that there are provisions of stipend/TAships.
