Admission to the university is primarily through the GPTU entrance exam, which is mandatory for most courses except a few non-technical ones. The admission process involves filling out the entrance exam form and participating in a counseling process where candidates select their preferred branches. Fees, which are relatively high due to limited government funding, must be submitted within a week of receiving an admission offer. Hostel and mess charges are 35,000 and 30,000 respectively.
