Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University (TNTEU) is a State University, located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The University was established in the year 2008. It offers UG, PG, and Doctoral level programs in Education. Every year, TNTEU begins the application process for B.Ed., M.Ed. and Ph.D. programs in the first week of August. The application procedure is carried out through offline mode. Admission to all the courses is done on the basis of marks obtained in the previous qualifying examination. For Ph.D. & M.Ed. admission will be done through the entrance exam, conducted by the University itself.

Candidates seeking admission to B.Ed. the program must have completed graduation in relevant subject with 50% marks from the recognized university. The University offers two years M.Ed. program in multiple specializations. The candidates must have completed B.Ed. in the relevant specialization are eligible to apply for M.Ed. program. Selection will be based on scores obtained in the entrance exam conducted by the University.

Take the print out copy of your online application submitted. - The duration of the course is 4 years and the intake capacity of each course is 100.
- The university reserves seats for different categories of students.

TNTEU M.Phil., Ph.D. Admission 2024
TNTEU provides part-time and full time various doctoral-level programs. The full-time M.Phil. program is for 1-year duration, while the part-time course is for 2 years. The course duration of a Ph.D. program is 3 years. The minimum eligibility for all doctoral programs is a candidate must have completed post-graduation in education. Seats will be allotted on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance exam and performance in the interview conducted by the University.
