>Hostel was provided in the Kelambakkam Area. It is far from our campus(7km away from the campus) > In our time college bus provided for the convenience, bus started from the hostel at 8 40 am and reached at institute and 9 am and after college got over the bus left from college at 5 20 pm and we reached around 5 35 pm) > Hostel provided for us was like an apartment. There were 3 sharing , 2 sharing and one hall for the common. >Hostel fees were 48000( 18000 for hostel and 30000 for mess fees) > During admission time , we opted for hostel facilities as I am from a different state > Mess quality is little less and mostly south indian dish are made. Sometimes North indian dishes were also made

Facilities for was good if only staying 4 members in a room but in some rooms 5 to 6 members were stayed because of the lack of rooms in the hostel. The quality of meal was some times it was good and some times it was very bad. There was less amount of money for staying outside compared to staying in hostel

The college hostel for students is provided seperately for boys and girls. For each room there are 4 students will be accomplished. Each room has one fan and 2 plugin and one study table will be given and also has 4 Carts in each room.

Hostel Facilities:

Girls have a 4 year hostel plan which costs 14000 yearly. The first year accommodation is outside the college but they provide bus facilities. For 2-4th year hostel is provided inside the campus. I can't say for sure how good the rooms are but I heard from my girlfriend that it's good enough. For boys the first year alone hostel is provided. You're going to have to search for room/pg from second year... I'm in 3rd year and I live alone nearby the college. The rent for rooms are quite expensive in Chennai but there are no options for boys. I suggest to live with others to overall reduce the rent in sharing.

NIEPMD - Home away from Home

Hostel Facilities:

Depending on the size of room, the number of people staying in the room changes. It can be 2,4 or even 6. There are fans, cupboards, tables, chairs provided in each room. The meal consists of chappati and rice. The hostel registration can be done on the Niepmd website. The hostel fees per annum are 42000.

LIFE IN NIEPMD

Hostel Facilities:

Registeration process for hostel will be combined with tuition admission for girls. Here girls can accommodate only two years of total academic duration and the boys are staying in PG hostel and rental home near Kelambakkam,Kovalam and kanathur (all these places are near to our college). Fee structure: 18000/ year. And mess fee will be changing with mess contract within NIEPMD hostel. In hostel they will be providing, 1 chair 1table 1 cupboard (5 shelfs) 1 bed 1 cot and 1 pillow. Here rooms are either 4 sharing, 2 sharing, and 6 sharing. Peoples will be placed according to their course students in hostel. Outing is possible only with the permission of hostel warden. If the outing is in week days course coordinator sign is must and the timing in week days is 5 to 7 pm. In week ends we should return before 7pm.

The hostel facility is much better. Hostel students have 3 faculty members in the hostel .good and healthy meals provide in the correct quality and quantity . The registration process of the hostel is very easy and neat. The hostel is available inside the college campus.
