Campus life is very beautiful and very greenery i will give you peaceful field work also awesome
In fact, the bank is also placing opportunities towards agriculture students.
Hostel is pretty neat and we have good essential facilities.

Dislikes

Since it is inside forest there is no sports activities
Mess food, mess food is pretty good but not worth the money
Since the college is inside forest we have to walk 1.5 kilometer for nearest small shop. And we have to go in bus for 5 kilometer for nearest town

Vanavaryar Institute of Agriculture was a pure class!

Likes

Our college is affiliated with TNAU and is one of the best in agricultural related fields.
Girls were more than boys in our college and that was the biggest plus.
Not just UG or PG but even doctoral programs were offered in our college.

Dislikes

It was so remotely located that we had no choice to hangout off campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course was a commited course as Agriculture is what even the top economies like the USA are also dependent on it. Ever since green revolution came in India, our agriculture has grown and to make sure we have enough green land and how to make optimum use of it is what our course was all about.

Better to face

Likes

Infrastructure, food, classroom, teaching
The mitcat farm, practical classes, outing
Playground, hostel, college facilities and so on

Dislikes

Fees structure, separate fees for visit,
More rules to go home in holidays.. Hate the rules
Miscellaneous fees in the fees structure.. But no use for us

My college - TNAU

Likes

The girls to boys ratio is 70:30 ratio in our college.
The greenery nature and the refreshment area
The well experienced faculty and our botanical garden.

Dislikes

There are more number of students in our college. The facilities is not sufficient for us.
For the tour, the proper and sufficient bus is not available
The uniform in our college. The practical knowledge is not enough.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is the top universities in Tamilnadu. The college timing is about 7.30 am to 6.30 am which is nearly 11 hours of the college. This tough timing of the college will teach the real world experience about the food, friends and academic works and tour and the amount which spend in this college. I suggest that we want more practical knowledge in this course more than theory.

My college My experience.

Likes

The cultural events, pongal celebration, the club etc . There are more agricultural fields are here which I love the most , the natural infrastructure is so pleasent.
Girls to boys ratio is 70 :30 . Nowadays girls re more interested in farming so in our college there re more girls.
The practical staffs will teach everything what they know to us . We can learn the things practically , which is so interesting. The practical staffs are more information givers.

Dislikes

Here we don't have more buses for tour , because they give all the buses to our subcampus , so we have only 2 bus for our university, it is insufficient for our strength.
The theory staffs I don't like , they only come and read the presentation prepared by them , and simply blame us that we are not even interested.
Our hostel is no sufficient for our strength, sometimes water problem is there , drainage problem.which hurts more for girls

The curriculum is fully about agriculture, which made me to take this course. Our curriculum contain more practical which helps us to teach for farmers is future . Frequency of exams is 2.30 hours for theory , misdemeanor 45 minutes , practical 2.30 hours , there is no difficulty in the timing of exams.

Likes

We have provided with good practical experience
We have good fitness centre, swimming pool etc
Best campus with wide spacing for enjoyment

Dislikes

Very strict academic schedule .we have class 7:30 to 5:30
Not good campus life .much stress with exams and record submission
Insect collection and herbarium is good experience but lack of time mKe ith worse one

How life works in TNAU Coimbatore

Likes

The campus is having a large area so we could roam around
The campus have insect museum and also we have practical learning courses
We have botanical garden which is very refreshing and so good for outing

Dislikes

We have very strict schedule of classes from morning 7 30 to evening 6 30
We have very strict campus curriculum. So we dont have much time for enjoyment
Here we are not having any student union and all so rights are not getting that properly

A clear picture about Tamilnadu Agricultural University Coimbatore

Likes

good infrastructure, best practical experiences, wide campus, swimming pool, fitness centers. Etc.
Strict curriculum, exams are conducted on time
You're provided with extra curricular activities like physical education, yoga, nss etc

Dislikes

Class schedule is hectic,7:30 to 5:30 norma days, days with ped until 6:30 pm
No student union,. Heavy works, record works
Field trips are mandatory, but most of the trips are wrecked, make you to go at end of sem, near to exam days

The relevence of course is based on particular state and scope of this course in tht state. All totally I will say it is a best choice. Since I'm a agriculture student and in India agricultural is its 1/3 rd of economy.

Think more than Twice

The environment of the college campus feels so refreshing.
The facilities related to the curriculum are all well provided
The extra curricular activities such as sports , culturals are very well encouraged

Dislikes

The students' strength per classroom is super overloaded with 240 students studying in one department per year, more than 120 students per classroom and this is the worst
Also in practical batch, more than 60 members per batch and you cant even listen to the specimens and lectures
The dont have concerns on the students stress and health, class schedule will be hectic and you will have more work to do it , you will have no free time,

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements after completion of the course Some of the companies visited are The Garuda, a drone company, and a company named The Signs group The highest package is 40000 rupees, and the average is rs 5000 to rs 25000 Barely 20 Percent of the students are getting passed My plan after getting the degree is to pursue an MBA in IIM institutes

My 4 years.

Likes

Campus was huge and well managed. It was well maintained with cleanliness and also beautiful.It has good security availablity through out the campus
Most of the faculty and staffs were student friendly and were also helpful towards any queries by the students.
The girls to boys ratio was around 2:1 and education wise college was always on top. It also contains smart classes, well managed labs and equipments.

Dislikes

The hostel space was not much appreciable. They need to build more hostels as every year students are increasing compared to previous year.
Hostel food was also a major issue most of the students didn't like the hostel food as they used to eat outside most of the time.
Class timings were quite a problem as classes used to start around morning 7.30am every day. Sometimes students used to get some much tired due shortage of proper breaks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall the course was a pack of many different fundamental courses which helped the students to get a general knowledge about how the agricultural sector works in our country. The teaching doesn't need any change it was quite good and also has practical knowledge with theoretical class. The exam were quite tough because the excess subject each semester but it also prepared the students for competitive exams.
