SASTRA Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

It is kind of good circullum. They mains focus on academics than other activities. Here academics is very high, very competitive environment. Everyone studies good. I like aerospace bcuz I have interest in this field.

From 5th semister internships will be started but only a 3-5% people will get those. And in 6th sem ending they will provide placement training and in 7th sem campus interviews will be started.Every year companies like tata, wipro, wellsfargo , fredilitu, infosys, amazon, google, Microsoft etcc ...will visit and most of the students will get placements but from 2 years due to regression placement are slow . Before 2 years 90 percent would have got placement.now due to regression we cant say the correct percent. I will join in a job i get good salary otherwise i will pursue higher students

SASTRA University is known for placements and it maintains it name by placing almost 90% of students every year in more than 280+ companies. The placements will begin from the end of 3-2. And in the mid of 3-1 and in 3-2 you will get to face some of the companies offering internships. The package offered will be based on your skills and your performance. The highest package of this year is around 35 LPA and the average package is between 6LPA to 8LPA.

Teaching staff and residential staff are humble The student ratio and faculty ratio is about 40:70 Teaching staff are well graduated and had honour in their respected courses it is moderate and above average to pass the time exams

Students from 6th sem are eligible for campus placements.Around 130 companies visit and more than 85 percent of students are placed.the highest package is 31 lpa and average package is 3.5 lpa. I plan to do Mba after b. Tech

Students are eligible for getting placement from 3rd year and if they are interested in getting replacement job in 2nd year they need to gain knowledge of the courses in which they need to placed. Many companies like Wipro,tcs, Qualcomm,l&t, Microsoft, Accenture,Amazon etc. Eligible cgpa for campus placements is 7.5 and above.

From the sixth semester students are eligible for campus placements . Mostly 80 - 90 % of the people will be getting placed . The average package may be nearly 3 - 4 LPA .

From 6th sem you are eligible for placements , and you are given opportunities from sizeable amount of big league companys and startups , highesh package comes around ~60lpa and lowest is ~3.1 lpa and 99.9 % are assured by collage for placements ( but you may come under the god forsaken 0.1%)on all serious talk it is unclear or i should say ever changing. Because companies have cahnged their employment criteria and is questionable. I would recommend you to do a mba but hey good placement = no need for mba

In 5th semester , above 6 is eligible for campus interview and lot and lots of companies will be entering for recruitment.the more of students are getting placement and more than 90 %of students are placed while leaving

At the 9th semester students are eligible for placement. Accenture, Wipro, TCS and many more. These are the companies offering placements to our university. More the 90% students get placed. My plan to practice as an advocate.
