Fees and Financial Aid:

In IIT Madras, I am paying a year-wise fees of 3 lakhs per year. I am not from any category and the overall fee structure for general candidates is the same as above. My batchmates who are of other categories pay an annual fee of 1 lakh per year including hostel and mess fees. Many loans and financial aids are available for students who are of category. Some mentionable loans are SBI Loan, ICICI Loan etc.

Student Snaps:

The year wise fees is 3.2 lakhs. This includes a tuition fee of 2 lakhs, hostel fees of 40000, mess fees of 34000 and other labs and miscellaneous fees. The fees varies based on economic conditions and community category. The fees for SC/ST students is also very less. For students whose family income is less than 4.5 lakhs, there is a scholarship which reduces fees by 67 %.

A honest Review about my college, Academics, opportunities, campus life

Fees Structure Our college fees is nearly ver low for students from backward classes such as SC and ST. Also there are many students who doesn't have any fees. My fees over an year is nearly 3 lakhs and since it's an integrated course of five year I have total fees of nearly twelve to thirteen lakhs. I don't have any scholarships because my parents having government jobs. My batchmates have many scholarship like some of the students parents are working in military or are ex militarians so they have scholarship according to it.

Total fees structure is 24000 for one year we can pay the amount semester wise for 1 St semester 131500 and second semester 110500 and rest of the three years will be 221000 for each semester Tution fees is 100000 for each semester For scholarship eligibility criteria isFamily annual income should not exceed INR 4.5 Lakhs .67% tuition exemption. Available for only 25% of students admitted. Renewal of scholarship every semester requires a minimum GPA of 5.0. in the previous semester

The years fees is of Rs. 300000, 2 lac for hostel and security amount is Rs. 500000. I am general category so don't have discount. The 80 % students are general category having full fees. Other cast fees having 70% decreased. Because they have reserved.

"A Journey of Learning, Growth and Social vibes"

I have very particular keen intrest in aerospace which had driven me to choose this course for my undergrad 1:10 which is one of the best in the entire Bharat country, being a NIRF rank 1 college. The faculty here are super highly qualifies, and their teaching methods are highly interactive, student-friendly, and knowledge through doubts. The term exams here are almost 1-1 & half months. And they were quite moderate to people who do a regular and decent study. These exams actually test student' ability to think and their application mentality, rather than rote learning and marks mentality.

IIT Madras B.Tech. CSE (Computer Science Engineering) is considered as the best B.Tech. specialisation. This is due to:

B.Tech. CSE has highest cutoff rank around 144-148 which shows its popularity among other branches and higher competition.
Most of the placements in IIT Madras are conducted from the B.Tech. CSE Specialisation.
