Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirements:

Applicants to NU’s MTech GIS program must have a master’s degree (or must be completing their master’s degree in the current academic year) in any one of the following disciplines:

Remote Sensing, Geomatics, Geoinformatics, Environmental Sciences, GI Sciences, Physical Sciences, Geology, Ecology, Geography, Anthropology, Archaeology, Economic Geography, or A Master’s degree in a related area

A bachelor’s degree (or completing their degree in the current academic year) in:

Engineering, Technology, Architecture, The applicant must have scored first division [T15] in any two exams out of their Class X, Class XII or bachelor, and second division in the third examination, Applicants must have secured 50% in relevant bachelor’s degree.

One Time Fee:

Non-Refundable Application Fee (EAD & RAD)	INR 1,500	Application form submission
Non-Refundable Acceptance Fee (The Acceptance Fee ensures that the seat in the program for which they have been selected remains secured for them. The Acceptance Fee is non-refundable since it provides the selected student the benefit of subsequent interactions and facilities such as the Head Start Workshop (HSW), Camp Future, and Learn from Masters series of lectures (LFM) as applicable.) Refundable security deposit (refunded upon completion of program)	INR 40,000 for EAD INR 60,000 for RAD	Payable at the time of enrolment.
