National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT) Neemrana offers several scholarships to deserving candidates who are eligible and require them. Scholarships are offered to students in undergraduate and postgraduate programs to those students who meet the eligibility criteria for the same. Mentioned below is a list of the said scholarships:
- NU Scholar Search Program
- Special Scholarship
- Special Fee Waiver
- Scholarship for Co-Curricular Excellence (CoX)
NU Scholar Search Program
To encourage and support meritorious Applicants, NIIT Neemrana has a very distinctive scholarship Programme called the ‘NU Scholar Search Programme’. Under this Programme, scholarships are provided based on either the student’s academic performance in entrance examinations like JEE Mains/BITSAT/SAT/CUET/NEET. It is applicable to the university tuition fee for the entire program duration:
NU Scholar Search Programme offers the following scholarship plans. The benefits under each plan are as follows:
- Merit Scholarship Plan (MS 1 Level): INR 200,000 scholarship annually on University Tuition Fee only.
- Merit Scholarship Plan (MS 2+ Level): INR 150,000 scholarship annually on University Tuition Fee only.
- Merit Scholarship Plan (MS 2 Level): INR 100,000 scholarship annually on University Tuition Fee only.
- Merit Scholarship Plan (MS 3 Level): INR 50,000 scholarship annually on University Tuition Fee only.
- Merit Scholarship Plan (MS 3+ Level): INR 75,000 scholarship annually on University Tuition Fee only.
Terms and conditions of merit scholarship:
- The above scholarships are merit-based and subject to availability.
- In the EAD mode, the Scholarship being offered will be on the basis of Class 10 performance with an assumption that the Class 12 performance will be equal to Class 10 performance.
- The Scholarship may be upgraded (if applicable )in case the applicant achieves higher than Class 10 performance in class 12 aggregate scores and also based on the Applicant’s JEE Main/BITSAT/SAT/NEET scores/percentile, as applicable. However, if the applicant’s performance in Class 12 is lower than Class 10, his/her Scholarship will be retained to the same level offered already. The Applicants must share these details within 15 days from the date of result declaration to the Admission Committee for consideration.
- The scholarship is valid for the full duration of the NU Programme the student is enrolled in, subject to the student maintaining a minimum academic performance of AGPA (Annual Grade Point Average) or CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) of 6.0 as per the then applicable University Academic Policy. The Scholarship may be upgraded for one Academic year in case the student scores AGPA/CGPA of 9.0 and above in any Academic year. Such student will continue to draw the upgraded Scholarship if her/ his AGPA/ CGPA continues to be at 9.0 or above. However, if it falls below 9.0 but remains above 6.0, the student Scholarship will be restored to the original level. In case the student scores a CGPA/ AGPA of 10.0 at the end of any Academic Year, a Full tuition fee waiver will be applicable for the next academic year.
- The decision for upgradation of scholarships at entry or in subsequent years is at the sole discretion of the NU Scholarship Committee and subject to the availability of scholarships.
- The scholarship may be revoked in case the student faces disciplinary action or is unable to comply to minimum attendance rules as specified in the Attendance Policy.
Special Scholarship
A special scholarship is extended to exceptional merit holders and top performers in the country. This overrides a lower scholarship level determined previously. To qualify for Special Scholarship, the student should meet at least one of the following criteria:

The students eligible for this scholarship are given a Full Tuition Fee Waiver in the Programme, subject to their maintaining a minimum AGPA/CGPA of 7.5 at the end of each Academic Year. To avail this scholarship, the students are required to submit proof of meeting the eligibility criteria at the time of enrollment.

Scholarship for Co-Curricular Excellence (CoX)
Special Scholarships called CoX are offered to the applicants who have demonstrated excellence in any area of Co-Curricular activities such as Sports, Music, Fine Arts, Theatre, Dance, or Social Service, by participating in and receiving awards at School Board, State, National or International levels. All Applicants who have been offered a Merit Scholarship and those who have not been offered Merit Scholarship, are eligible to apply for CoX if they have documentary evidence of co-curricular excellence as mentioned above. CoX Scholarship amount will be INR 25000 per year. The condition for retaining CoX Scholarship will be participating in the Students Club pertaining to the concerned co-curricular area.
CoX Scholarship
All Applicants who have been offered Merit Scholarship and those who have not been offered Merit Scholarship, are eligible to apply for CoX if they have documentary evidence of co-curricular excellence as mentioned above. CoX Scholarship amount will be Rs 25000/- per year. The condition for retaining CoX Scholarship will be participating in the Students Club pertaining to the concerned co-curricular area.
Special Scholarship for Women
A special scholarship for women student applicants is given under the name of WOMEN IN STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). An amount of INR 15,000 is given annually to all the women applicants. It is in addition to any Merit Scholarship or CoX scholarship.
Special Fee Waiver
A special fee waiver of INR 15,000 annually is applicable for a certain category of students defined as below:
- Wards of Armed Forces Personnel (Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force only)
- SC/ST/OBC Category
A special annual fee waiver of INR 25,000 is applicable to the following categories of students:
- Siblings of NU students, current and alumni
- Children of current/ex-employees of NIIT Ltd and its subsidiaries & NIIT Foundation
- Children of current/ ex-employees of NU
- Students who are domiciled in Rajasthan
The above waiver will be in addition to the Merit Scholarship as applicable. The Fee waiver is applicable for only one of the categories mentioned above.
To avail of a Special Fee waiver, the Applicants must submit a written application at the time of registration at the campus with proof of the category applied for.
