IIM Udaipur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placement offers are great with last year's average being 13.2 LPA. Many great companies visit our campus the details of which can be obtained from the annual placement report. The college takes care of each and every individual placement responsibility till the very end.

Academics are the top priority for the college, and the administration makes sure that proper guidance is provided to each individual. Academics and Placement were the top parameters in deciding the college.

IIMU has immense academic reputation among the new IIMs and is also known in the entrepreneurial space. With a decent batch size and class profile, the location as well as new campus was favourable for me. I prioritised Academics, Exchange opportunities and Location over other factors.

Campus, culture, student run campus, every senior I spoke didn't give any bad review. When I called my friend and family they didnt had any specific Idea which one was best for me. So I had to spoke with my mentor at IIM coaching class. It was fully about whether I should join IIMT or IIMU. Sir mentioned that if you need a goof culture , good exposure you have to go to IIMU. That's what I did and never had any regret.

IIM Udaipur admission is being collaborated with few other IIMs as well so its called CAP admission process.

Campus placements are conducted and are of very good quality with transparency and honesty as their core pillars. Campus placements begin from the 4th term-end onwards and last until the last student gets placed. For our batch of MBA 2019-21, over 100 companies have visited so far with 270 students placed to date out of 283. Companies like Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, Amazon, PayTM, Hero, Capgemini are a constant. The highest package offered this year was 34 LPA for a domestic job offering with an expected average package within the range of 13-15 LPA. The placement report is prepared according to IPRS and audited by an external agency. I have been placed in the BFSI sector and plan to venture deep into this field on the basis of the knowledge and skills acquired during my stay at IIMU.

Placements at IIM Udaipur consist of two parts - the Summer Internship Process (SIP) and the final placements. The SIP is a mandatory part of the curriculum. The SIP usually starts from the second term of our MBA and goes on till everyone in the batch is placed. For a couple of years, IIM Udaipur has been known to complete 100% Summer Internships. The final placements start in the fifth term. A few prominent companies hiring from IIM Udaipur are Accenture, Deloitte, Amul, Cisco, etc.

Placements are quite good at the institute. Around 70+ companies visited this year on campus and offered a variety of roles in Finance, Marketing, HR, Operations, etc. Except for a few students (5-10), everyone has been placed and the placement committee works very hard to get all the students placed. My plan after getting the degree is to start my first job and work on my further career.

The college has been successful in garnering one of the best placements among new IIMs with an average CTC of around 13.5 lacs last year. The college obtained 100% placements for summer internships for the year 2021 however the final placements stats for the same year are yet to be released. The major recruiters that participated in the final placement drive of 2021 were Accenture, Infosys, KPMG, EY, TATA AIG, Bajaj Auto, Axis Bank, Flipkart, Berger Paints, Cummins, Juggernaut etc. The majority of the companies that visited the campus were from the BFSI sector, followed by IT and consulting. The major profiles offered to students were Senior Analyst, Channel Sales Manager, Consultant, Business Development, Project Manager etc.

The final placements start during the 4th trimester which is immediately after entering the 2nd year. There are more than 100 companies offering 200+ roles in 7 domains. The average package this year was close to 14 lacs per annum. The highest package was 35 lacs per annum and all the students are placed this year.
