I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University Jalandhar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Currently i. In the 5th semester. So i don't know much about placements but as far i have came to know placements are that much good but if you give some effort than you can get it . So not only focus on college placement.

The placements are quite good here. In this college, you can get a platform at a much cheaper rate. You can get opportunities like CU here. Companies are Nevada, Wipro, TCS, Deloitte, etc. No of the students placed is 95%. I plan to do MBA after BTech.

The students from 7-8th sem are eligible for the placement and the placement is good as we have our own tpp department which grooms us for the placements. I also got placed from campus placement and my package was 7lakh

There will be two internal exams per semester. which is divided into mid-sem 1 and mid-sem 2. Mst 1 will be after 1 month of regular classes and mst 2 also be after regular 1 month of classes. I choose this course because it has great scope for the future. The teacher will just be qualified only a few of them were good. Exams are not too much difficult.

From 7 Semester and onwards students become eligible for the PPOs. Companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, etc. also visit the Campus. The highest Package of CGC, Landran in 2021 is 46.8 lakhs. The average package is 4.2 lakhs. My plan after my degree is to get placed in a well-famed company.

Course Curriculum is also good. I am interested to use computers when i was free in my time. That's why i have choosed the Computer science field. Faculty staff is also good. They help us in any problems we are facing. All the facult staffs in our college have done master's degree. And their teaching method is also better beacuse they teach us through the projector and with blackboard. And also everyday what we read in the lectures they implement that in the labs. There are two mid term exams in the semester and through this exam we get prepare for our final exams.

In the 5th semester students are eligible for campus placement too many companies visit there e.g. google, amazon, Microsoft, Wipro, etc. Highest package:- 48 lacks. Average package:-10-12 lakh. Lowest package:- 3-4 lakh(mass placement companies) There is also an MCAT exam done for eligibility for the placement it is related to technical, English, and mind questions. 90% of students got placement.

From 6 semesters onwards students are eligible for placement many companies were given offers from 6 semesters. Amazon, Google, Microsoft, IBM, and many companies gave big offers more than 90% of students are placed at cse in last year. The highest package offered by Amazon is 45.5 LPA and the average package is 5.5lac. After completing my degree, I go for higher education.

placements are good in BTech courses. form 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. about 850+cmpanies visit college for placements highest package is 45.4 lakh and the average is about 6 lakh. 85% of students get placed in BTech.

Placement is very good from the fee point of view. Everybody is eligible by the 5th semester. Except for Apple every company visit the campus and provides good opportunities. At least 99% get placed from every department and the average package is 6 to 7 lakh. The highest package offered was 44 lakh by Amazon.
