Remarks

You need 70% in 12th boards to get the computer science stream. The application form is easily available on the official website. The accounting office is slow and needs to be quick with the fee processing and an online portal is required to get the no-dues recipt

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is easy and the teaching faculty is helpful and there are timely MST so that the whole syllabus is covered properly. Most of the faculty members are holding PhD. Exams were good to prepare for the finals as the whole syllabus was covered

The students from 7-8th sem are eligible for the placement and the placement is good as we have our own tpp department which grooms us for the placements. I also got placed from campus placement and my package was 7lakh

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of study as compared to other colleges is low as the college is semi-government and has a lot of schemes for underprivileged students. Many of the students who belonged to BPO families are given 100% scholarships

Campus Life

Parivartan is the annual fest. The library had all the books required in fact the had books from different authors also so that one can study from the content they find easy to understand. Clubs were just joked as they mostly included local students only

The hostel rooms were good as we had the facilities of having inductions and the hostel was quite on the affordable side. Hostel fee was submitted during the admission process but the hostel were shown before taking the fees

Placement are decent.Many companies visit the campus,but getting a good package depends on your skills and performance.Teh university also provides training support. Some companies like Deloitte,nexity consulting,Bigbasket,zepto etc visited are campus.

Average placements for the college. As for the good stduents and competitive students companies r coming and they get internships and jobs . Companies like Deloitte, Adobe , Playsimple. Scalar AI labs , LG etc .Good Stsrtup and well knowed companies gave placements .

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

Real myths and facts

I choose this college because the placement opertunity is very great as compared to other colleges .As college has attend the naac A++ gradation which adds another reason to join this college ..another reason also be that the the college is near by my hometown and I would be beneficial for me to stay with my parents and add new skills to me .its is the only college that I have applied for and got admission directly in the college . Honest CGC Landran review

The admission process is easy the eligibility is around 80% or 75% in boards that's it with PCM. There's was a registration fees of 11k when I enrolled and I'm not sure about now and no further fee for admission and this registration fees is included in the tution fees later, there are no college admission tests here, and they do not enroll a lot of students but it is collaborated with CU so a lot of students sits for placements ....Read More
