The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

Nice and catching review

Dislikes

The main issue is placement.. in my time .. there is no placement. But now a day I see . placements company are coming into the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opt for MBA in chandigarh university for various reasons. One of the main reason is this that curriculum is highly updated with the current trend. That's the main reason As I mention above curriculum is highly updated . The only problem is this . That they can involve more practical aspect so that we can relate more with the real world . There frequency of exam in every two months

Infrastructure - Has a really good infrastructure

Dislikes

Teachers - many teachers don't know how to teach
CU does have placement opportunities but not everyone gets that
So Didn't allow us for 2 month complete break for summer internship

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good only. Like I'm doing MBA, on first year we studied all the subjects - finance, marketing, HR, supply chain, everything. There were subjects that weren't that good and most students found them to be irrelevant one such subject was management lessons from ancient India.

The truth of CU

Likes

I like there cultural activities because they provide many opportunities to participate in that.

Dislikes

They don't provide enough time and instruments for practice and same in education there are no hands on projects...
There is only theory based education and only few practical based things..

Placement Experience:

If they are not able to provide me placement, then i do apply for off campus placements and rapidly try to get healthy job and i have some connections so, i try to get referal from them That is my plan if unfortunately i didn't get placement.

Honest Review of Chandigarh University

Likes

The university has a well planned infrastructure that support both academic and extracurricular activities
The university library in our block is well built having good ambience
The campus has a health center with good medical staff to handle emergencies and provide medical aid to the students

Dislikes

The curriculum is theory based and lacks emphasis on practical knowledge. Many courses do not include sufficient hands-on projects or real world applications
The hostel facilities outskirts of the university are poorly maintained with common complaints about cleanliness and hygiene

Placement Experience:

The students can become eligible for campus placements from the third semester The companies visited here are Times of India, BNY Mellon, Swiggy, ABFRL. The highest package offered by the companies are of 10 lakhs and minimum of 5 lakhs and profiles offered are of management trainee,HR executive,Campus ambassdar The percentage of students getting placement is 90% My plan is to get a job as a Business Analyst at the associate level in the Big 4 consulting firms

CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY: AN OVERVIEW THROUGH EAGLE EYES

Likes

Availability of resources, equipment and library
Helpful faculty with industry connection, available when you need help.

Dislikes

Some new faculties are untrained and unprofessional and also lack knowledge
Poor classroom structure with over 80 students in a single class
Not providing internship opportunity in the specific domain.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement in their final year. Companies like BNY Mellon, Yubi, E&Y are visiting campus with internship stipends of about 30000 and package of around 10Lpa. Highest package I had encountered was about 12Lpa and the lowest was 5Lpa and on average arout 7Lpa. There may be other placement offers.Around 50% definitely get placed, can't say the same for those who have not put any efforts. After getting the degree I will join a company with good package and a reputed name. Also I need my job profile on the same field which I have choose that is of a Business Analyst.

Chandigarh University imparts quality education at affordable fee structure offering the best Return on Investment to the students.

Likes

University offers variety of courses at very low fees with a good placements opportunities
The Infrastructure is so amazing that gives students a very peaceful environment to study, the classroom size is very big as compared to other colleges and university has air conditioned classroom with sitting capacity of 90+ studnets

Dislikes

The only thing I disliked about college is their admission process, they have their entrance test only by which they select students and to be honest students cheat in the exam to get scholarship
At least they could have add Personal interview rounds for their selection process to admit good student
And the most important thing, Admission councilor needs to be very honest while councilling students regarding placements and all because they claim that top tier companies visits campus and offers 50 lac+ packages which is completely not true

Placement Experience:

Chandigarh University offers a wide range of placement offers from 200+ companies visits campus every year. Top recruiters are Deloitte, KPMG, EY, PWC, Federal bank, ICICI Bank, AXIS Bank etc. Highest package offered by Federal Bank is 16 LPA during 2022-2024 batch of MBA. There are some certain elegibility criterias for placements which are set by the companies like you need to have 60% throughout academics to sit in the placement drive of a particular company. Some companies are having 50% criteria some has nil criterias also. These criterias are set by the companies and college cannot change the criteria of company

Likes

Chandigarh University CAASM college provide quality of education with great experienced faculties which help to grow student carrier personally and professionaly.
Environment over there is very peaceful if you any query you can directly approach to higher authorities and they will listen and help to resolve any issue if you have any.
They organised healthy effective events which help to widen the perspective of the individual by listening experienced person who specially come to share their knowledge.

Dislikes

less events in CAASM cause it is new branch of chandigarh university

Placement Experience:

After 1 yr student eligible for campus placements. average package is around 7lpa . 100 percent placement in my batch because there is only 36 in my batch nd all are placed in several different companies like Toppan ropar, jio reliance, and many more

Campus: They have huge and well maintained campus.
Environment: Environment of campus is great and good for self development.
Companies: Many MNCs visit campus for campus recruitment drive.

Dislikes

Job Roles offered: In MBA maximum ofefred jobs are from sales and marketing only
Behavior of Security Guards: Some security Guards Behave in appropriately
Each faculty is far, which makes you uncomfortable in order ot get approval you have to walk too much, from north campus to south campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Again course curriculum gets updated after each semester and required subject are added or removed according to need. however the course content is old which needs to be updated. They can improve there methods by keeping a feedback channel always open.

The atmosphere of the campus, stunning weather.
Support from teachers specially Pradeep Bawa from MBA he is genuinely the best teacher one can ever have.
Choosing hostel is upto you I had my experience good also as well as bad also depend on your mates.

Dislikes

Never ending construction and never ending competition
Take it as a joke everything can't be perfect
Hostel warden doesn't let you enjoy you need to make Espace for that.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement of college is good and it's average placement was 4-5lakhs which is justified in current recession scenario. But companies do offer a good package depending on your skills I was placed in Bajaj Allianz General Insurance the pay package was good along with pf deduction and every other benefits but I left the company due to my personal issues. Overall the placement criteria is good in the campus around 300 companies visit every year and students do get selected in multiple companies.

Review of Chandigarh University

Likes

Having good faculty & helping faculty. Understanding the students fully.
There is a lot of diversity in university. Students from different states are there.
Campus buildings having the very good infrastructure to enjoy.

Dislikes

Management regarding some departments have very low engagement with the students.
There are a lot of events are there during the class time due to which students have to sacrifice one of them.
Classes timing are very hectic and we have to move in rush during morning.

Placement Experience:

Mainly, from the third semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like KPMG, Deloitte, PWC, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Amazon, TCS etc. visited here and nearly about 9000 offers were made by all these companies in a year. Highest package:- 22-24 lakhs, Lowest package:- 4-5 lakhs Average Percentage of placed students here is 60-70%. To get a bright and highly reputed position in an MNC.

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
As per the latest placement statistics, Chandigarh University Highest International Package stands at INR 1.7 CPA seized by a B.Tech CSE-IBM Information Security student with a US-based company whereas the highest national package stood at INR 54.75 LPA.
