The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

The campus is awesome I like it very much, according to other universities
Teaching is also good as expected to other universities as studied
Faculty is well, educated, and teaches very good

Dislikes

Nothing that disappoints me about my college
Sometimes the staff is rude to us due to their own problems
The food of the campus is not as expected

the curriculum doesn't provide strong foundation in mathematics science and fundamental engineering principles, which are very essential for any technical career hands on learning through labs workshop and project helps in understanding more

Freshers experience in CU

Likes

There is good girls to boys ratio. I mean there is good balance between them.
The environment is also very good and creative in the campus.
You'll have lots of opportunities to define or inhance your skills through events.

Dislikes

The teaching method is quite common and need to be improved.
The attendance structure, i haven't understand it yet. It sucks.
And the north campus if this college is quite far from the main university campus.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students are eligible for campus placements. Amazon Highest package is 35 lpa and average is 6 lpa. Around 40 to 60 percent of students are getting placement. Doing the job for the experience and later apply for abroad for a job.

Placement cell is is okay but not that much related to other top universities. Avarage package may be 3-4 lk PA .There ar also some top companies visit here for placement also few students get jobs over there for high package such as 1 Cr but the number is so less 5/100. others get an average package .top companies visit are Amazon,Bandhan bank,Acmegrade and many more

Chandigarh university is 100% anti ragging university.
Teachers are very cooperative with students.
Very good environment ofr exploring your potential

Dislikes

Strict rules and regulations of the university
Attendence issue you have to maintain 75% attendance
You have to be very punctual for your classes timing

Many companies visit our University during placement sessions but we have to buy a TPP (training and placement program) to sit in incampus placemnets if haven't purchase th TPP we are not allowed to sit in campus placements. This university provides lots of opportunities for students but students have to do lot of hardwork . Students can aslo take off campus placements as per their capabilities 60-70% students got places every year from this university

The campus infrastructure is up to the mark with greenery around which is my pleasant to the eyes. Classrooms and software labs are well equipped. The campus is neat and clean.
Faculty is very friendly in nature and has excellent knowledge in their respective domains.
Course curriculum is upto the mark with all the latest topics and subjects that are trending in the industry.

Dislikes

I think that there should not be the criteria of 75% attendance, falling which the students are not allowed to give exams.
The assignments given by the faculty does not contain anything that makes you learn about the subject. It's just copy and paste.
The university campus is located far away from the city. I have to travel for 20-30 minutes daily to reach the university.

Chandigarh university offers remarkable campus placements opportunities to its students. If you are in MCA, you are eligible for campus placements right from the starting of the second semester. There are a good number of companies that visit the campus including Microsoft, oracle, samsung, Airtel, TCS, Infosys, Bank of America, federal bank and many more. The highest package offered to the student of our department was of 14 LPA by federal bank, followed by bank of America which offered an annual package of 10LPA. 50% of the students got placed and the remaining went for higher education. After completing the course, students can also apply for services in government sector.

Chandigarh University - In & Out

Campus - Campus is very big and infrastructure is also good..Classes and labs are quite big.
Extra curricular activities- CU organize a lot of activities in which students can participate according to their interests.
Syllabus- Syllabus of a particular course is designed in sucha way that you get idea of what industry needed.

Dislikes

Teachers- Teachers are teaching subjects other than their main subject for which they don't have any knowledge.
Study material- They provide PPT's which is just copy paste from internet.
Attendence- 75% attendence was mandatory.

Placement Experience:

There were ample opportunities given to students but thats upto students how well they are performing in interviews. Around 50% students got placed during my time with avg ctc of 4.5 lpa. Companies like deloitte,pwc, edifecs, amazon, flipkart were visiting the campus.

I like their infrastructure, there are also good canteen.
I like my college because of their affordability.
I like chandigarh university because of many cultural events.

Chandigarh University have criteria to maintain 75% attendance.
They have not give better placement opportunities to us

The teaching methods are good, they are providing us the PowerPoint presentations and we have suffered a lot with that stuff. But there is a good thing there are the subjects which are demanding in the Market.

The campus life and socials interactions are very good. There are almost every day some activity in the university.
The placements are also very good, There are almost 150+ companies come in placement season. The highest salary they offer is 25 LPA. One of my friends got this offer of 25LPA in JP Morgan.
The infrastructure is very good. They have very big libraries and very big campus, grounds for sports, there are grounds for almost all sports.

Dislikes

Teachers will become rude after 1 or 2 semester. 75 % attendance is compulsory otherwise they won't let you to take exams.
curriculum is quite vast. There are very topics to study. and exams are not come in the curriculum, they can add question from anywhere.
Immediately they can ask you to pay full fees and they give 5 10 days only after that they will charge late fees 500 to 1000 per day.

Placement Experience:

In the last semester, you are eligible for placements. 150+ companies are coming, The average package is 7LPA. The companies from Microsoft to Accenture and TCS are all service-based companies that come here. The highest package is 25LPA. one of my friends got his offer of 25LPA from JP Morgan. The percentage of students who are placed is 30% to 40%. In their ADs are say 100% placement, all of this is fake

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
As per the latest placement statistics, Chandigarh University Highest International Package stands at INR 1.7 CPA seized by a B.Tech CSE-IBM Information Security student with a US-based company whereas the highest national package stood at INR 54.75 LPA.
