Likes

Everything was very good teachers are very supportive and helpful and they teach in a good manner and very nicely.
Good in annual technical festival in library range of books always available socialism groups clubs created by students in college sports & extra activities also available for all students to improve study alongwith other activities.
The placement opportunities at my college were quite good, with many students securing job offers from reputable companies through campus placements.

Dislikes

Admission process was very hectic as they were not good management very bad because only thing that they want is more money and students don't care about people bad admission process teaching is very bad
Lots of restriction for our department whenever we want to do something new
The timing of the exams used to in afternoon which made us feel dizzy.

The festival structure and organization is very good
The faculty as first year is very good in teaching
The student council and other council are very supportive

Dislikes

The exam schedule is not that good not got time for preparation

Placement Experience:

As first year I don't have that much idea but if you have good skills then you definitely have good placement and good number of student get placed every year After degree I would love to join any tech company

Exposure to real life situation good facility infrastructure and also the teachers are very good and that way of teaching is very understandable and also very helpful the extracurricular taking part also helps alot in such activities its a good colle
Good facility learning wise and teachers are helpful

Dislikes

Infrastructure is good but could be better
More sports based activities should take place

Course Curriculum Overview:

The difficulty level is medium but since there are no holidays given during exams it becomes a little hectic to finish everything so i would recommend holiday between exams and also teaching methods are good hence no changes as much needs to be seen

FY Experience at Pillai College of Engineering.

Likes

The curriculum is structured nicely making it easy to study and score.
Most teachers are expert in their teaching and are supportive and interactive.
The campus is nice having all the facilities up to the mark

Dislikes

There are two internal assessment instead of just one mid term
The classrooms are not cooled by AC's and it gets really hot during the summer
The placement is pretty average showing almost no scope of a dream job

Placement Experience:

The overall placements of the college isnt up to the mark. The number of companies appearing in the placements are inadequate. The overall packages offered by the companies are very low end and the position they offer is of the lowest position in the company.

Placement Experience:

If we talk about placements, I think it is more of your skills rather than marks. The average package goes from 4- 5 LPA. In semester 8, there isa compulsory six-month internship after which you can apply for campus placements. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for placements.

The infrastructure of the college is very nice.
A lot of helpful faculties. with a lot not so helpful too.
Vast library and a hell lot of online paid resources available for free through knimbus and other portals

Dislikes

The attendance policy. Depends on department on how much they take it seriously
The tnp is very strict regarding their session and seminars. One mistake and you get a demerit point and after some demerits you are disqualified

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the third year itself for ppo and so. There are several companies visiting thakur around the year and there are a lot who get placement off campus too. I have heard a student from comps got into google at 72lpa. you can visit the tnp site for more detail.

i loved their infrastructure. it is so cool. campus is so nice.
their canteen's food is literally something to die for.
the faculty is also nice. their teaching mathods are also understandable

Dislikes

i did not like that the lifts aren't enough
i disliked that some faculty members don't support their own college fest
i literally hate their attendance thing and that entry exit msg which goes to my parents

this was like a base course for me. my friend influenced me to take this course to be honest ????. it prepares us quite well for real world. application. teaching methods i would say they should try making it more interactive. their difficulty level is medium.

Mithibai- Quality Education with Ideal College Life

Likes

The campus, crowd as well as faculty along with clean classrooms
the campus is spacious allowing oneself to relax
the cultural fest , kshitij, which is enjoyed by every student as well as faculty

Dislikes

the attendance issue is faced by every student
the watchman is rude to the students sometimes
mandatory attendance and early lectures at 6:45am

A proper review for theem college of engineering

Likes

There a better managed of water in each floor
There are washroom on each floor separate with girls and boys
Staff are very nice and understandable they solve our problems also

Dislikes

Issue in electricity management always go electricity and come 2 to 3 hr later
Not so many technical events are there have to fun
Buses management is very poor even driver don't give idea to a student were to go

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about placement but senior told Little bit that you can get placement from the college as well as from off campus also . They have placement and provide better placement to the students

Likes

The faculty is nice and helpful and good teaching ways.
The fests are good and the cultural programs as well.
The classes are not suffocating and properly ventilated.

Dislikes

The auditorium is not that large to stand large amount of crowds.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements in the start of 6th sem. Top recruiting companies for placements were- Deliotte,axis bank,KPMG,TCS etc. Highest PACK-7LPA Average Pack-4-7lpa 50-60%of students get placed. Planning to clear my cma exams and opt for a master's degree in finance.

things i liked was the campus life was very good, top notch social interactions with students as well as the teachers, overall the environment of the college campus was very friendly and adequate.
the faculty was also very experienced and very helping , and provide great guidance.
the effectiveness of the placement was also very good, and very focused.

Dislikes

one thing i disliked was that the college had a crowd of good and bad , not just good.
the course curriculum was good but it could have been more better
there was a bit of lacking in the amenities and facilities provided by the college

Placement Experience:

In the 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements, and you should not have any backlogs in any semesters, quite a good number of comapnies visited the college, most of my friends are placed right now and are earning good money. highest package would be around 5 lpa or 6 lpa. around half of the students got placed. i completed my degree and opted for masters and i am currently pursuing my masters.

Mumbai University does not offer a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Aviation but you can apply to other colleges such as Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS) Chennai, University Of Petroleum And Energy Studies (UPES), AIMS Institute, etc.
