Students who want to opt for Msc in economics should have idea about the basics of economics and maths to navigate well with the curriculum. The syllabus of 1st and 2nd semester has been prepared to dwell deep into the cores of economics. From the 2nd year or 3rd semester you get to pick your specialization amongst Data analysis, Finance, International Trade, Developmental Studies, and Urban Studies. The Course itself will be taught in a manner to keep you updated with the job necessities and requirements. Extra value added courses are also added to enhance your learning in every possible manner. Exams are semester wise. With relative grading system.

Its relevant to the course but the facultys method of teaching can be upgraded so that students understand it better,they can have a better approach with diff teaching method styles those which are interactive and can bring in experienced faculty too,exams arent that difficulty,mostly syllabus based only

This year due to recession there were nor as many placements but last year 15-20 were placed in morgan stanley wirh an average packaggw of 10lakh. So almost all the atudents were placed. My plans is to find a job or get placed from tcsmpus only

The course curriculum was amazing, it was primarily based on the curriculum followed by the world's leading economics institutions such as the London School of Economics & Berlin School of Economics. This made the course engaging and equally rigorous for students so that they can delve deep into the subject and specialization of their own choice.

The program which I have choosen is not easily availabe in other universities and their criteria was different, plus I know the faculty at my current college having studied with them for 2 years, thus I know how well they explain the concepts, hence choose the same university

I have chosen this course because marketing is a good field with a high success rate. I am comfortable in this field as it brings the best out of me. Fests conducted here are good, and we have sports and cultural fest separately, which is of 3 days each. Our campus is alcohol and smoke-free zone.

it could be any other university with equivalent training and exposure that symbiosis provides - the plus factor of symbiosis is rigorous screening prior admission to assess the potential of student to accept training given - that includes live exposures in every course it has and freedom to pursue other interests other than the main curriculum plus interface with industry and global universities

The MSc Economics degree is intended for those students who desire a rigorous higher education and training in the field of Economics with the aim to pursue career paths that include analytical, empirical, financial, advisory, managerial and research oriented work at positive and normative levels.

Placements over the last few years have been quite decent in terms of salary packages offered. Placements are ensured by the very active placement cell of the college striving for results consistently. Not only placements, but the college also works towards providing internships to students who are completing their second year.

It is actually a good college to pursue economics for the reason that it has a good faculty that is too friendly and the course is so designed that you will come to know a lot about the world and academics after 3 years of life at SSE ( if you ever get enrolled).
