Remarks

The course eligibility required an applicant to have good knowledge of Economics and mathematics. Based on the application form submitted, a few candidates were called for a personal interview with the existing faculty to judge the underlying knowledge of the applicant and whether he/she is suitable to be inducted as a student.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was amazing, it was primarily based on the curriculum followed by the world's leading economics institutions such as the London School of Economics & Berlin School of Economics. This made the course engaging and equally rigorous for students so that they can delve deep into the subject and specialization of their own choice.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are plenty for anyone willing to go ahead with them, I personally got an internship during my time at the college in a semi govt. research entity in Mumbai which was an amazing experience for me. Especially, in order to help me get a glimpse into the work life that I was about to enter after college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fees were charged as per the standards that are followed by other private colleges, but still, it was less than many other alternative colleges who are offering a course even remotely similar to this.

Campus Life

Symbiosis International University is well known for its great campuses and lifestyles that are embed into the daily life of students in order to help them excel in academics and much more. The volume of activities, events and festivals is amazing, providing a great environment to be in.

Placement Experience:

Actually this college has very good infrastructure like medical room and common room for girls. And indoor game auditorium and a gymnastium. And educational stationary shop. And the canteen food is good and affordable and hygiene level is good. The quality of teaching is way more good as I think about this college the management of academic is sometimes is loose to decide the semester dates.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for Microbiology, as in the evolving world I feel microbiology is going to be a great field to do your graduation as we can even see in the corona time, the microbiologists played a very important role. I would advise it's a great field and will bring a great scope in the coming years. Basically, we have approx 15 faculty members, every faculty member has their individual expertise to teach a particular paper. Most of our lecturers are PhD while few have done their Masters in Microbiology ...As they all are very experienced they have a great teaching technique and is understandable and effective. With the support of teachers it becomes very easy to pass the term exams, they are extremely supportive.

It is actually a good college to pursue economics for the reason that it has a good faculty that is too friendly and the course is so designed that you will come to know a lot about the world and academics after 3 years of life at SSE ( if you ever get enrolled).

What i liked about the college that it has a good infrastructure. Good sanitation facilities, drinking water facilities, Air conditioned rooms, vast library. The things i dint like was the instability in the timings of college. And the portion is alwasy completed at the last moment. A place for Research in Economics

Remarks:

The college is very good institute but the faculty is not very willing about the interest of the students regarding placements. The professors are very research oriented which is not a bad thing but it does affect the subject they are teaching. They are very knowledgeable in their own field. The course structure is very good. The campus is fine and there is hostel for all students so accommodation is not problem.
