The MSc Economics degree is intended for those students who desire a rigorous higher education and training in the field of Economics with the aim to pursue career paths that include analytical, empirical, financial, advisory, managerial and research oriented work at positive and normative levels.

Placement Experience

The placements were pretty decent. Many think tanks, ngos and reseaech companies came. Also, the salaries were on an average 4+. Companies like Deloitte, Zs associates etc. Came for the placement. People got placed for the profiles of mainly Analyst and researchers.

College Events

Symbiosis, as we all know, is a fusion of strong academic courses along with fun loving extra curriculums. It's amazing to be a part of this institution. The long span of lectures, the early morning guest faculty, the tedious and boring exams, are like the vicious circle of the college. Yet, the practical exposure I get has enriched my knowledge definitely.

From which semester students become maximum students are placement.company name I don't know I no experience , highest package is 15LPA and average is 5 to 6LPA , then percentage of placements students is 50% to 60%percentage students are playes.

The best place to get admission

Placement Experience:

Students who completed their masters are eligible for placements. Companies include Pharma, Biotech, R&d, agri companies, food industries, we can apply there. Well from 3rd semester students can apply and visit different companies previously, haidrabad, banglore are visited by our seniors. Students get salary of 30000-40000 ,there are students selected for multiple high rated companies. 30-40% Students get placed. I want to pursue Phd from India as I am more focus in research.

Life at fergusson

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 3rd semester. I am going to start the process now from june. The companies such as springCT, Josh, Omniscient, Bluepineapple,etc. come for campus placements. Some companies make offers in lot or some lpick only 2/3. Almost all students get internships. In 4th semester we have to do internship compulsory. Average package is 7lpa if its a job offer if its an internship the it is lesser.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course this very high on demand and i know about these course very well and i have interest in these course. Teacher prepare me for the real world for the special application of practical and internship provided in college for getting experience of that course. There should be have extra classes before the exam. Exam timings are very challenging you have to be present in exam on time. And aslo you should be able to manage the time as per the questions. The timing of approx each paper is 2.30 hours to complete the paper

A campus life you must live once in your life - Fergusson College

Placement Experience:

Placements in Fergusson are pretty good. Students are eligible for sitting in the placement drives from the 3rd semester, we also get Pre-placment activities and tests before the drive starts. We get companies like Axtria, Vois , bluepineapple etc on campus. The highest package is 10 - 12 lakhs and 4-6 lakhs on an average. In my batch out of the 30 people we 20 are placed so far on campus.

Placement Experience:

By the end of sem3 itself, the postgraduates are deployed into interviews for certain internships. But if you are with good academic scores and knowledge you can even get directly placed. Every individual is given 3 chances by the college to get and crack the interview but if the student is not able to then he is guided to where to apply but mostly ICRI makes sure everyone is placed as the college proudly stays with its 100% placement tag line. As I told here there are varied background people here with different needs of roles, the highest package I have seen getting is 15L pa to the lowest of 3L pa which even depends upon the company to your broad spectrum of knowledge. To specify which companies come here for recruitment are sun pharma, Cipla, and many more there are all 20+ companies that come and hire the intellectuals. To specify about me I am planning to get a CRC post as a start for CRA in the future.

PG not given any campus you will get a job on your ability. We have to prepare for set net after MSc but there are some companies visited college like Wipro. They provide job but the salary is around 25000 per month.

The other colleges i applied to didnt have finance as a core MBA course. The full time residential course made my decision for this college aure as it gave me more time to only focus on study here. My Experience at SSBF

I chose this college because it is a niche college for banking and finance specifically. It further has other specializations like Fintech, Finserv, Insurance, etc. I personally had a keep interest over banking and finance side so I chose SSBF. I found SSBF better than other colleges as there are very few colleges who provides degree specifically in banking and finance and I am also getting the brand value of Symbiosis, So it was te best choice I made. I also applied to other symbiosis colleges including SIBM, SIDTM and SIMS. What went wrong was my percentile in the entrance. The admission process of SSBF includes GEPI (Group Excercise and Personal Interview). Group excercise is conducted first and then there comes personal interview in a single day only....Read More
