Likes
- Availabities of scholarship can be used widely to get financial help.
- There are annual fest all year and other celebration over the special occasions .coming to sports it supports sports very well it's a good college join and see why should i ruin the surprise, i hope you all enjoy it
- Campus , the faculty members are very friendly and they help there best for the students
Dislikes
- Politics is sometimes misused , so fights used to be there. Still manageable
- Some teachers seem not to care or are too full of themselves and reduce internal marks for basically nothing
- Anyone can go inside the campus and there is no restrictions

Students become eligible for placements from 6th onwards actually. Many companies are coming and taking students. We just need to clear all the subjects for appearing in an interview. Percentage of students getting placement is hogher

- In cusat, Alummini network is great which helps in boosting our career later
- Many tech events like hackathon, Workshops text place.
- The colleges is built in a vast area and is full of greenery
Dislikes
- Most of the times professors do not take the effort to teach the students
- Cultural programmes are taken place rarely
- The outdated and unnecessary syllabus makes the students loose their will to live.
Placement Experience:
From the S7 onwards, students are eligible for campus placements. If they have a cgpa of more than 8. Nearly most of the students were placed through campus placement and average Package offered was 500000 per annum. And the highest was 700000 Per annum. After my b tech graduation , I plan to take masters in business administration.

- Workshop facilities are less.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The theory exams are conducted in 3hrs and lab exams are conducted in 4hrs. the main prob of the faculties is they dont know how to teach properly.

- Better teaching, the professor are highly qualified, innovative subject specially on cucek
- Certificate value if the university is high,so high placement factors,there is a good placement records
- The atmosphere of the campus,it's on a village ,it's rural campus so it's very quiet over there
Dislikes
- Lack of infrastructure is major problem over the decade
- Low availablity of transportation,as due to a rural places
- There are no sports and cultural activities
Course Curriculum Overview:
Curriculum are highly effective for the growth of the students,new subjects and it's modern requirements everything is made into mind while creating new subjects ,exams are of modern to high level .they always never fail to suprise the students with there question paper

- The professor who teach us in the college are well educated. Everyone is having a MTech with phd. There are many assistant professors who are regular as well as in contract basis.
- The campus environment is really nice. We enjoy each every moment we stay there. We can explore the whole university and there is no limitations. The CUSAT certificate values the most.
- The girl to boy ration depends to each branches. In ECE it is 60:40 boys and girls respectively
Dislikes
- Strikes which happen relevantly may disturbs you
Placement Experience:
From sixth sem onwards the placements starts. In ECE, every year different companies visits us for placements such ibm, Siemens, tcs, Microsoft and lot more. Highest package till is 25lpa in Amazon and the average package is 3 lpa
Around 70% of students gets placed. I have planned for MTech after completing my graduation

- kalamassery campus vibes was very nice and kochi was a vibrant city.
- lot of things to explore in the city and you will never get bored
- even in hostel especially boys you could go out and come in at any time and is very affordable at 300rs per month
Dislikes
- ego of the staff is very fragile especially the permanent staffs
- academically is the campus is very bad don't expect the staff to teach anything they just vaguely go through.
- now the securities are very strict ,they used to be friendly now the management changed the company .
Placement Experience:
placements are very good to be honest , if you manage to score above 9 cgpa then you will get placed in cisco , it offers 24lpa , thats the highest package for soe , cisco also offers 12lpa , and other companies also comes nokia,ibm ,and some ither companies also offer 10 to 13 lpa , and then accenture ,rcs ,reliabce ,tata everything ranges from 4 lpa to 9lpa

- Cusat is a globally recognized university which is good for higher studies.
- Cusat has a vibrant campus life with a culture mix pf diffrent people's.
- Cusat provide with a different course selection .
Dislikes
- There is no industry visit in cusat which is a major drawback
- Placements are strong in other departments but for mechanical engineering students it is very dence.
- While there are many infrastructure there are not well maintained. well
Placement Experience:
In cusat there are placement bit not for my department which is mechanical , but for all other streams like computer, IT , EEE and EC they all have good campus selections.
The placement for mechanical has a gpa of 5.8 which is the average gpa for mechanical students.

- College is surrounded with trees and greenery which improves students mood
- Good and professional faculties who teach very well according to students needs
- Transportation facilities for students far away from college
Dislikes
- Reachability and time- as the highway is now under construction it takes more time to reach college
- Attendance- it is compulsory to have atleast 75% for each subject to be eligible to write exam which requires student to present most of the days
- Duration of semester is very short and the content to learn is much more
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is somewhat worse as it only gives the basic knowledge about the subject and is more exam oriented than practical due to it being congested with assignments and internals which practically gives less time to master the subject.
Exams are more frequent compared other courses

- College is not clean and neat. It needs a lot of improvement
- Low placement rate and no proper internship opportunities
- College bus service is worst no seat for many students

The course is offered by ktu and curriculum prepare us well for the future responsibilities. The academic curriculum includes many activities and projects that enhance the capabilities of students in their subjects and facilities choose the best organised methods to teach us

- There is lot of students clubs that we can involve in free times.
- Labs are quite good, we can go there at free times and do external works or practice programming.
- There is lot of Other non curricular activities we can involve.
Dislikes
- No proper maintenance of football ground
- Some faculty is unable to teach well, we can't understand anything
- Not good for students from othere states. If you don't know malayalam i didn't prefer this college to you

They provide placement packages from a minmum of 4lpa to 12 lpa..
But most of the students got 4 lpa packages, it is very difficult to crack higger packages, but most of the cs students got placement andd students of other departments palcement is not good.
