Okay so, throughout the year, we have three breaks - February, June and October. February is the internship break and you have to compulsorily do at least 1 prescribed internship. Usually, for first years its a research internship at an NGO, second years have to intern under a senior advocate, third year in a law firm, and fourth and fifth as per your discretion. The ASP student database has a huge repository where various internship opportunities are available for you to apply.

By the end of 4th Year, you're eligible to sit for placements. Tier 1 Law firms like Khaitan, S&R associates, Trilegal, CAM, SAM etc are the major employers. Highest package usually comes from the offers by the Magic Circle firms which are international legal firms, nearly 80L Nearly a 100% placement percentage, given that it is the top law school in the country. I plan on going for corporate after my degree.

Internships range from working with advocates at trial courts or high courts to working at law firms. All top-tier firms offer internships to the students as mentioned before who also come for placements. Students can also individually approach top lawyers for internships in their chambers. Not every firm and lawyer offers a stipend. Law firms mostly provide stipends ranging from 4k to 15k per month. The tasks in internships mostly are research based i.e., to research on an area of law or a legal question. It also involves drafting documents, due diligence, checking compliances, drafting opinions, etc. Visit courts with lawyers gives you hands-on experience at how courts function and working at law firms gives you an idea about how life and corporate work culture exist at law firms.

4th and 5th years. Average package probably around 20 lakhs/annum. Foreign placements also available. High placement percentage for those wishing to go for corporate law

In 2019, 44 students were provided placements on Day Zero and 23 students got pre-placement offers. The highest salary package was 18 LPA and lowest salary package was 12 LPA. Companies such as Bajaj Allianz, DLF Limited, Reliance Power, SEBI, SBI, Tata Motors etc. and law firms such as L&L Partners, AZB Partners, Amarchand and Mangaldoss, etc. provided job opportunities

Placements are allotted according to the marks they secure in there plus two. Students ability to take up the projects and work honour 8 in the best way will be guided from the lecturers. Internship courses are also available in the college.SO they are opportunities are very good.

The starting package was Rs. 12 to 16 lakhs per annum. The highest package offered was Rs. 20 lakhs per annum with 100% placements. There was a legal counsel in the law firms and companies like the Deutsche bank, Luthra and Luthra, Amarchand Mangaldas. The internship stipend offered was a minimum of 7, 000 for a month. The placement cell is also very efficient and ensures that everyone has an opportunity for the good internships. The alumni network also guarantees the internship to the students.

Placement opportunities depend on each batch. Mostly social sector does not rely on a lot of contacts and connections for jobs and hence the job search is a crucial and difficult task. Also since it's a new course the recognition is relatively lesser.
