Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engineering) in Metallurgical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial and Production Engineering, Ceramics Engineering, or equivalent from any recognised Indian university; or AMIE in Metallurgical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering; or M.Sc. in Chemistry (Physical/Analytical/Industrial/Applied/Inorganic) or M.Sc. A valid GATE score in Metallurgical Engineering (MT) is mandatory for scholarship seats through CCMT; self-financed candidates may apply without GATE.
