Yes the infrastructure of college is old although new fully air-conditioned lecture is under construction office staff is not helpful.College campus is dirty.College campus is spread across 363 acres of land and their is lot of greenery in campus. College is far from market but their is a regular bus from college to market.College provide medical facilities to student.Internet facility is intermittent mobile network are also weak here.

Lastly I would like to tell to all to going to take admission in NIT Jamshedpur that NIT Jamshedpur have best placement don't hesitate to get admission.Yes the academics building is old but in this time they are renovated and a new academic building is also prepared in front of old academic building which is fully air conditioner.

Though we lacked a proper academic building but that issue has been solved by the new academic building which will be functional by July. I would say that the college provides you a lot of opportunities being it academic or extracurricular. And the best part about the college is that we get a lot of time to do things.

I am totally satisfied with this institute. As per of my understanding I got the best institute. It is having good library, good classrooms and good faculty. Placement is very good from here you can get the placement into a top MNC.

Negative remark: Infrastructure now is very poor, but very soon a new academic building is going to be renovated, which is fully digital and centralized AC. Positive remark: We all NITs come after IITs so NIT JAMSHEDPUR has much thing that make it better than private colleges and also better than state level govt colleges. NIT itself is a brand.

Remarks:
National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur ,is an institute of National Importance located at Jamshedpur,Jharkhand,India. I think its the best college in Jamshedpur.It has all the facilities that a student may require.It also have bus facility which takes students to Bistupur Marker everyday.It has a dispensary located in the campus for health issues.

Infrastructure is not upto the mark. The new advanced academic building is still under construction. Labs are obsolete and new instruments are not installed even they are available at the institution.
But one would have great four years of life and would learn a lot

My friend recently graduated from NIT Jamshedpur. Here is her review.
Location: The campus is located in Adityapur, surrounded by industries. It is a bit away from Tatanagar Railway Station. Since Jamshedpur doesn’t have an airport the best way to reach the campus is from Ranchi via NH-33.
Infrastructure-wise: Both the hostels and the computer centers are revamped. The main buildings of the campus are still under further development but are expected to be in maintenance soon. However, the mega hostels, known as J & K, are an enhanced sight of the campus.
Academics
- The quality of professors or the methodology of their teaching is quite not up to the mark. Few professors of the institute somewhat still follow the old pedagogy and are sometimes not cooperative. On contrary, the newly appointed Ad-hoc faculties are supportive and are willing to guide students.
- Students of the institute perform well in competitive examinations. Many made it to IITs, IIMs, or various international institutes as well.
- The Central Workshop and laboratories, substantially Fluid, Thermodynamics, and Metallurgical are not quite well maintained.
Placement Reports:
A few major recruiting companies are (in respective branches) as follows.
- CSE: Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle
- ECE: Amazon, Oracle Finance, Wipro, Mahindra Comviva
- EEE: Tata Steel, JSW Steel, L&T, BPCL
- ME: Tata Motors, L&T, Tata Steel, BPCL
- MME: JSW Steel, Vedanta, Tata Metaliks, Tata Steel
- CE: Simplex, L&T
- PIE: Tata Hitachi, JK Tyre, JK Paper, Tata Motors
FIITJEE, Rao Academy, Career Point, etc, are examples of coaching institutes that recruited as well. The highest package received was 30 LPA while the average salary was 12 LPA
Extracurricular Activities:
The TechnoManagement fest, Ojass, and Cultural fest, Culfest are the major events of the institute. There are several automobile teams as well, like Team Phoenix, the aircraft team; Team Rays, the hybrid car team and Team Daksh, Off road car team.
