NIT Srinagar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

JEE mains Score is 83. Because my rank was not enough to get into highly ranked college. Admission is process is simple except standing in queue of fee payment.

In my conclusion this college was more of a boys school as no good girls exists here most of the campus is filled by boys what so ever was the course they took but still it was worth it i would say i had big group thus this college is improving due to growing demands i hope in next 10 years it gets a good ranking in Indiaits just an average college with most disgusting faculty ever just with few exceptions like IK pandita, shabir sofi, whole mechanical faculty and rest of the faculty and kashmiri are anti india and are no use to you if u dnt start licking their shoes.

Some partiality is there between kashmiri students and others. It should not be happen because if you do such a thing are playing with the career of the students.

Entrance examination GATE 2014score 400 i opted this college because it's campus environment and location very good this college faculty is very excellent.

Management is not good as well as study, it you want to do something then its completely on you.

I have qualified AIEEE entrance exam (2011) with 20463 rank in general category. Under this ranking, i was getting all the branches in NIT Srinagar and NIT Silchar. All core branches like civil, mechanical, electrical etc can be taken by any candidate who is having ranking near to 19000 20500. So finally i selected Civil Engineering branch in NIT Srinagar.

College is worst as compared to other NITs (except north east NITs) but as compared to other private colleges I would say it is better than them.

Overall it is good college but not very good, if you have other options which as good as this then go with the other options.

The college overall is fine the good point about it is the faculty which is highly qualified and have great skill of teaching the bad point are the labs they need to be upgraded to high tech labs.

I took AIEEE 174 marks.
