Why choose NIT srinagar

Total fees is around 8 lacs for complete course but since I belong to ST category I don't have to pay tution fees. So my total fee gets reduced by 5 lacs. Some teacher courses you to do assignment on time otherwise they will deducts the marks

The year-wise fees I pay is around 2 lakh The tution fee is 81600 and the mess fee is around 20000 but if you have income less than 1 lakh then your fee is around 20000. and if you have income less than 5 then you average a fee of 40000.

Total fees per semester as of latest acedmic year 2024-25 For general and OBC category whose family income is above 5 lac is "73000" , whose family income is between 1lac to 5 lac and belongs to these categories is "31333" and those whose family income below than 1lac is "10500" Those who belongs to SC/ST/PwD their per semester fees is "10500" (Hostel excluded for all) Those who want to join hostel and mess facility they have to pay 8000 per semester for hostel and 20000 for mess per semester. lets take a example , if you are a OBC student and your family income is less than 1lac then how much money you have to pay per semester if you avail hostel and mess facility as well , then you have to pay (10500+8000+20000) 38500 per semester and 77000 per year. Now coming to the scholarships part , for your kind information i want to just say that college doesn't provide any scholarships but you can apply for scholarship like NSP , ONGC , FFE and many others .

Beautiful college on heaven on earth (NIT SRINAGAR)

Nit Srinagar provides you with three different categories for fee. below 1 lakh,1-5 lakhs, above 5lakhs, below one lakh students don't have to pay an academic fee ,1-5 have to pay only 1\3of the academic fee and above 5 have to pay the total amount and sc/st all academic fee should not have to pay.

NIT SRINAGAR the real face

fees is pretty reasonable 96000 per semester and thier are 8 semester . if you are sc/st you dont have to pay any tuition fee. if you are general/obc category and your family income isless than 1 lakh then also you dont have to pay any tuition fees and if your family income is between 1-5 lakh per annum then you have to pay 2/3 of the fees and if your family income is more than 5 lakhs you have pay the full fees.

The fee for mess and hostel is same for every student 12000 and 8000 respectively for each semester the course fee vary according to category and family income of the student for general student it's 52000 per semester Scholarships are provided for students having family income below a certain amount Fees hikes are not that common
