- The faculty of our department is very nice. they have very strong knowledge of the subject and also they are involved in very good research project.
- Yes college also provide many scholarships to students and they were too helping.
- "hillfair"-this is the cultural festival of the college two unforgettable nights filled with fun, joy, laughter, entertainment, learning, bonding, interacting with batchmates as well as seniors for the overall growth.
Dislikes
- The placements of my college have became quite bad gradually, and they have fallen quite badly .
- Hostels and their washroom are in pathetic condition. mess food is also not up to the mark . overall hostel condition is not good. almirah and chairs are broken ,
- Teachers and staffs are bit of biased to the himachal pradesh

As per the good remarks, college is fully ragging free, has high speed internet connection, one of the best infrastructure and offcourse girls are very beautiful (for boys only, LOL). Talking about bad remarks, we need to take stairs everywhere since college is located at a hilly area. Bikes are not allowed in the college( may be good remark in bad) and nothing else.

I took JEE mains entrance test and I got 18875 AIR in that and I opted this college because of its beautiful location and culture. The National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur is a public engineering college in Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, India. It is one of the thirty one National Institutes of Technology established , administrated and funded by MHRD.

Entrance Preview:
GATE, AIR 812, NITH was one of the few colleges providing PG specialisation in Computer Science and Engineering course. The location and infrastructure of the college is just amazing.

Remarks:
Overall the college is above average but there is some problems such that some time conflicts break out between students and teachers. But it is very minor problem because situation gets alright very quickly. So over all college is nice.

In JEE mains 2016, i got 23 k rank. So, i got seat in this college in civil engineering branch. For this rank i got 136 marks in JEE and 98% in state board.

Entrance Exam- AIEEE(Now a days its JEE-Mains), Score-206/360, Reason- At this score , for ECE Branch I was getting very few NITs and among all,this college was BEST.

Local Entrance test. JET was conducted. And admission counselling was called on the basis of merit JET is the most popular entrance in the area and maximum participation was there from- Local as well as from the outsiders, physics , Chemistry and maths were the three subjects those were evaluated during the exams.
