- The faculty of our department is very nice. they have very strong knowledge of the subject and also they are involved in very good research project.
- Yes college also provide many scholarships to students and they were too helping.
- "hillfair"-this is the cultural festival of the college two unforgettable nights filled with fun, joy, laughter, entertainment, learning, bonding, interacting with batchmates as well as seniors for the overall growth.
Dislikes
- The placements of my college have became quite bad gradually, and they have fallen quite badly .
- Hostels and their washroom are in pathetic condition. mess food is also not up to the mark . overall hostel condition is not good. almirah and chairs are broken ,
- Teachers and staffs are bit of biased to the himachal pradesh

The college is overall very good.College is equipped with all the basic facilities for the students.There is a big playground.The college also includes a bank and a primary health centre which has three ambulance.

I am in NIT Hamirpur and this is really nice college. Seniors are helping. Teaching faculty is also nice. The hostel infrastructure is also good. You may face some problems in adjusting but when you start liking it you would not wamt to leave it and go home

You will enjoy your four/five years of college here bcs campus is so beautiful that it is rated india's second most beautiful campus.The only negative point i faced is food here and lack of facilities in the city hamirpur.

College is good. But reachibility is little hectic. People from plain area can have motion sickness. The place is very beautiful but little aside from city life. You can't expect dominos , KFC, big malls here

Remarks:
The infrastructure and campus environment is one of the best. Located in Himachal Pradesh, the campus is filled with trees all around and cool breeze will always blow your mind. The lecture hall is located almost at the center of campus.
However, nearest railway station and airport is very far from college. And that is the reason why some reputed companies do not come here for placements.
Nevertheless, it is still great for making memories.

NIT Hamirpur is an excellent college. You have gain lots of good things in this college. Especially People in Himachal Pradesh are sweet, honest. One of the best college campus in laps of Himalayas, India Deodars in campus- always motive you to aim high
College management depends upon the director of the college. But NIT Hamirpur is average in college management.

Everything is good.
Sometimes management sucks.
But still college is improving on this .too.
Just professors should teach with enthusiasm as being a teacher .they should not teach us or treat this what we can say this profession as a job...
Nothing else.
