NIT Hamirpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I chose architecture as it was my dream to become an architect. The faculty-student ratio isn't good. Moreover, teachers here don't know how to teach students. They just blabber and go. They don't listen to children at all. They are barbaric And Hamirpur being a small and low-key town, put up so many unnecessary restrictions on students which is totally against the law

I chose electrical course because in hp there are options for me to choose, as there are many government jobs eligible for me after doing this course. Faculty is average not very good. Every semester we have mid sem exams and end sem exams

In my branch which is Computer science and Engineering the average placement is 18 lakh per annum and the highest package of 1.73cr per annum and a lowest package of 6 lakh per annum and more than 123 out of 126 students placed in the year 2023. talking about overall placement the average package is 6lpa and more than 80% of students placed

There are very good placements in our college national institute of technology Hamirpur, the highest pankage in college I s1.71 cr for cse student ,after degree planning to do ms in usa , it is a good opportunity to get into this college

I choosed this course because of its the top course in the engineeribg The faculty ratio will be around 1:10 They have qualified so many phds and researched prefessors It's so difficult to pass in the exams we should study the lessons through deeply

I am pursuing CSE in NIT Hamirpur and the average package of the year 2023 is 18lakh and the highest package was 1.73 CR talking about overall placement the average package will be around 8-10 lakh . More than 85% students get placed and almost 100% placed in CSE

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements .There are several compinies that visit in campus placements. Aproximate 36 companies. Highest package is 1.7 cr from this campus and placements percentage is 80%

The placements in the college are also excellent for CSE and ECE students. The placement percentage in core branches is very less. Some major companies that visit our college are Amazon,Accenture, capzemini, HCL, cognizant, samsung and many more but they usually pick CSE and ECE students. In CSE the placement percentage last year was around 90 percent and rest opted for higher studies. In 2022 the placement percentage was around 97 percent for CSE. For rest branches it can be checked on College website.(Our college don't lie about their placements)

Our college provides good infrastructure and excellent opportunities. Placements: Our college has good placements. In addition to placements in chemical engineering core companies, chemical engineering students can choose IT companies.

There are plenety of placements and there are also many people who do internship in their 2nd year. But as this is mountaineous region so company visit is kinda low. But the percentage of placements is up to 100 percent for cs students.
