We appreciate the faculty here which is brilliant and superb in its field
Our campus is very beautiful and emviroment friendly provide a experience like home it has a lot of trees and the classrooms and buildings of our departments are designed in a well way uts good
Hostel is free from ragging food is quite good as compared to other universities and cleanliness is also of top notch level we get single rooms from 3rd year onwards so overall hostel facilities are sufficient

Dislikes

Hostel facilities is not so good, high mess charges.
There is no placement cell in the college which is a major disappointment for students as they have to seek out for jobs themselves after the college.
The hostels which undergraduate students get are very old and lack basic amenities. There is water shortage very often in the mornings and the hostel buildings aren't very clean and hygienic as well.

College of Dairy Sciene and Technology, LUVAS Hisar

Likes

LUVAS Campus is very good. Very good environment in the campus. Many good things to explore.
Hostels have lot of fun. Room conditions is good.
Library have very good facilities. There is lot of books related to every field. Fully AC.

Dislikes

Water problem in summer need to be resolve.
Some security rules requures change. Closing and opening time of Gate 4 should be adjusted.
Canteen needs some upgrade. But all over these are ok.

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester students become eligible for the campus placement. There are several companies visited like AMUL, sakhi and they offer a good amount. Highest package is given by AMUL which is 6 lakhs per year with some bonus. About 60 to 70 percent of college student get placement and remaing gor for the furthur higher studies. I want to go for Masters degree after getting the degree.

Cultural activities dramatics and dance performances

Dislikes

The management sometimes takes such steps which are not in favor of students
The hostel facilities provided are not up to the requirements and more are charged
The infrastructure is old and needs upgradation

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is lengthy and massive and subjects are too bulky . We have 3 subjects in 1st yr , 5 in second yr , 7 in 3rd yr , 3 4th yr . The university provides all the required things for the course and maintains a discipline with respect to the curriculum

Outstanding Faculty healthy environment lab facilities p
Proper clinical exposure extraordinary farms, horse riding classes
No of livestock and other animals and NCC

Lack of knowledge of this field in people
All funds are going to new campus and lack of improvement ij current campus

Placement is overall good if campus placement cant take place a veterinarian can work in public health industry,dairy industries food safety industry and open their own private clinic or can also opt for poultry business and more.

Once in a lifetime experience

Likes

I love animals and this course has helped me develop empathy for the animals.
The ambience or our university is so soothing and calming.
The teachers are also very hardworking and dedicated.

Dislikes

Hostel facilities are good but there can be improvement.
Washroom facilities in certain blocks are quite disappointing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is special as it offers so many opportunities in the future and we also have NCC as a compulsory course as well which is very helpful in the personality development and social skills. The subjects in every year are relevant and necessary for us to become great future veterinary surgeons. The exam pattern is like we have 3 internals and 1 external exams at last and I feel like the time given in the internal is very less considering the difficulty level of those.

LUVAS in One Go

Likes

Teaching is good, their method of teaching is also good.
Infrastructure is good, labs are good. Smart classes are there
Library is excellent, almost all books are here.

Dislikes

Hostel facilities is not so good, high mess charges.
Interaction among people is not that much. People remain in closed group

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is good, provide all necessary information regarding the field. A little more practical knowledge can be done. But overall the curriculum is great and well formed. Areas like practical point of view I think still shows some improvement.

My university my pride

Likes

This college is asia' top most university in animal sciences and husbandry
We appreciate the faculty here which is brilliant and superb in its field
The environment here is fabulous and provide the best opportunity to study

Dislikes

There is no such thing which i could dislike
Come to campus and they roam around like nothing
Slightly some things affect which are outsiders

Brief intro of College of veterinary science (luvas)

Likes

Campus is the best and the clinical exposure we get is unbeatable
Well ahead in Research area, where multiple programs state and central are headed by this university so far best University for veterinary
The faculty works dedicatedly and the laboratories ware well equipped we all facilities

Dislikes

College have less grants/funds as it is veterinary College as compared to other
Very less pg seats for students coming from other states
Job placement cell is a bit less active in this university

Placement Experience:

The only drawback is Campus placement cell is not quite active but it doesn't mean there is lack of employment students can easily manage to get around 70k after BVSc and A.H course and records of this university students clearing foreign exams like navle and other competitions is quite well

Likes

The atmosphere of the university and teachers are teaching perfectly
In thus university lots of clinical practices to be performed
There are cattle farm, Buffalo farm, sheep, goat, swine and poultry farm separately

Dislikes

There are seniority and juniority which sometimes feel like harrasement
Labs do not have air conditioners but only have fans
Lots of smell from poultry farm due to their feces and their feed

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually in my course there are lots of veterinary subjects and also contains ncc which is the best thing because it teaches us about unity and discipline. And the environment of our university is very breathable

One of the best options for Veterinary in India

Likes

The faculty and clinical infrastructure of the college is very good and the teachers are helpful and understandable.
The university provide very good sports facilities and great infrastructure with circket ground, volleyball court, basketball court, football ground, 400m synthetic running tract.

Dislikes

The hostels which undergraduate students get are very old and lack basic amenities. There is water shortage very often in the mornings and the hostel buildings aren't very clean and hygienic as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very big as we've got a lot of subjects. Since the college is in Haryana so the course mainly focuses on Ruminant Animals for productivity and the other animals are taught as comparative to them. In veterinary colleges, the main animals in different states decide the curriculum for veterinary colleges in that state. The internal exams are held 3 times a year and then final exams.
