Course Curriculum Overview

5

Curriculum is well designed according to the the syllabus and we have internals after every 2 month and finals and these are way more difficult then other universities so that students can put maximum efforts in learning for teaching the classrooms are well equipped with smart boards

Internships Opportunities

5

Here we get 365 days intership after 4th year with stipend 18k per month and we get exposure for internship in other 4 universities out of the state during intern time like gadvasu ivri etc and the clinics pateint load is also far better as compared to other universities

Placement Experience

5

The only drawback is Campus placement cell is not quite active but it doesn't mean there is lack of employment students can easily manage to get around 70k after BVSc and A.H course and records of this university students clearing foreign exams like navle and other competitions is quite well

Fees and Financial Aid

There is scholarship and financial assistance for economically backward students and this campus provides employment and after every 3 4 year there are vacancies for the post of assistant professor scientist etc. In various departments and from group c lab technician and for vlda too. Over-all excellent campus

Campus Life

5

Overall we get to learn a lot of things from this university there are various activities in different clubs and we have NCC as well as horse riding facilities where students secure national medals and inter University games in college

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel is free from ragging food is quite good as compared to other universities and cleanliness is also of top notch level we get single rooms from 3rd year onwards so overall hostel facilities are sufficient

Admission

Neet is conducted every year and 85% seats out of 100 are reserved for haryana and Jammu residents rest 15% are filled by VCI counseling for which a general category student must have rank under 30k in neet

Faculty

5

Student faculty ratio is 1:15 which is good, every individual student is mentored by faculty where teachers address problems regarding academic and non academic areas every week their is tutorial where we meet with teachers informally faculty is so friendly we can share whatever we want to. Here we get well experienced and top notch faculty and they motivate us for studies amzed to see that they have heavily contributed in major reasearch area with excellent results.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like the curriculum. It is very systematic and interesting. It makes the course more engaging with the distribution of subjects and everything. The theory and practicals are so interesting. If a student tries to relate, they can certainly get a lot of knowledge for real world and operations The teaching methods are also good. It would be nicer if practical knowledge was provided in 1st 2nd and 3rd year but it is usually not given in any college for veterinary so it's not something wrong. The exam date timings are not bad, usually there is gap of around 1 to 1.5 month between each internal exam and then there are prep leaves for external exams. The only sad part is that it takes a lot of time since each subject has 2 exams for externals with syllabus divided.

I chose this course because I want to treat the unspoken souls of the globe, who can't speak and are in pain and suffering and that's the hardest task you can do in your life.
