What Students Say
Likes
- Hostel is only two minutes away. Thus it is super convenient.
- There is a balanced time table for all classes. Nothing like imbalance occurs if you make a good schedule
- You can see operations happening. This it gives you practical knowledge also.
Dislikes
- Strictness is there. Although not a bad thing, but as a student ig I don’t like it
- There is a uniform to wear, sometimes I just want to leave in my Nightsuit
- Small campus is there. This is a bit sad
Course Curriculum Overview
I like the curriculum. It is very systematic and interesting. It makes the course more engaging with the distribution of subjects and everything. The theory and practicals are so interesting. If a student tries to relate, they can certainly get a lot of knowledge for real world and operations The teaching methods are also good. It would be nicer if practical knowledge was provided in 1st 2nd and 3rd year but it is usually not given in any college for veterinary so it's not something wrong. The exam date timings are not bad, usually there is gap of around 1 to 1.5 month between each internal exam and then there are prep leaves for external exams. The only sad part is that it takes a lot of time since each subject has 2 exams for externals with syllabus divided.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for one year is 6.16 lakh INR. This is of management quota. State quota fees is 4 lakh INR. Hostel fees is 1.5 lakh for boys and girls. (INR) there is no scholarship discount on fees and is fixed The fees vary every year for new batch but remains same for the batch going on
Campus Life
The campus life is not bad. Students here are friendly and fun and a lot of social diversity is here. Students from south India, east India and all parts are here. The campus is a bit small. That's the only problem. But otherwise everything is good.
Admission
This is the best private veterinary college in whole India. It is the one with best teachers who have come from LUVAS. It is also the nearest to LUVAS and here the faculty is so engaging and nice. The other private colleges of veterinary are not that developed architecture wise as well as study wise.
Faculty
Faculty: leadership: chairman Mr. Bhupender Malik. Department head : Dr. Prem Singh for veterinary clinical complex Dr. Sridhar : HOD veterinary medicine Dr. Rishi tayal: HOD surgary and radiology Dr. RK Jain: anatomy Dr. Khatta: animal nutrition Dr. Sangwan : AGB Etc etc Course structure - 1st year - anatomy , physiology , LPM 2nd year - biochemistry, AGB, pathology, microbiology, animal nutrition. This one is the hardest 3rd year - it has 5 subjects and 2 practicals. Also hard 4th year has 4 subjects 5th year is internship We have 3 internal examinations. Out of 3, best 2 are chosen and it adds to the final result along with one external examination of 200 marks which is divided into 2 exams per subject of 100 marks each
Night Life
As for me, Nightlife is nothing here tbh. Because after 9 girls cannot go out of hostel, but this is a good thing because it is safe. For boys tho, u can enjoy nightlife like playing games like volley and stuff here till 12 pm ig. It's not bad
