Sardar Patel University of bachelor of computer application course which is six semester course and it takes around three years per year fee of bachelor of computer application is 30,000 and full course fees is 1,20,000. Sardar Patel University provides space, education and scholarship for specified students.

My college journey

Likes

The environment of my college was so friendly.
My college campus has ground for sports. Also college held intercollege competition.

Dislikes

College is good but the maintenance is slow.
The canteen of college is not large so student can’t fit in.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

In my college fees is paid semester by semester. There are only admission and college fees. Fees is affordable and can be paid in installment. There is also scholarship provides by our college. According to their cast category the scholarship is provided to ST/SC. They have to pay only 20% of fees and remaining 80% is paid by the college. This scholarship is available in all semester's.

The thing I really liked about this college is that its very open and its it’s not just a building block
I met really great professors over here they really have some good faculties that has helped me change my perspective

Dislikes

The only thing I dislike is that good faculties are leaving
They are getting better opportunities and they are leaving

We have different costs for different course for B.arch course you will have to pay 123000 per year or you can pay half- half semester wise For B.interior design you will have to pay 90000 per year Overall the cost have been increased over the past few years

My college experience

Likes

For the Law student it is more important to have good knowledge of law and literature and for that our college has a good library.
Another important thing for the students are the moot court for the knowledge our college has a separate floor and it was about half of any auditorium.

Dislikes

The management of the college is not to accurate something students has to wait a lot because decisions are not accurate of the admin department
Management didn’t set the teacher at there right place so because of that teacher are not able to use their full potential.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Yearly college fee was 30000 and it was needed to pay in 2 semester. Each semester student needed to pay 15000. There was also scholarship for the ST and SC students which was given by the university itself. Also apart from the college fee, student also needed to pay development fee which was 500 and gymkhana fee which was around 300 so it was 15800 per semester. For every student in my batch has to pay this amount.

My experience at M.B. Patel Science College

The campus has a lot of greenery which is beautiful and feels fresh and is it's easy to navigate and the library here is really useful and well maintained.
The college is affiliated with a school across the road which has an academy where students can learn a lot of skills for free during college hours like dancing, different musical instruments, craft, drama, rifel shooting, and much more.

Dislikes

The campus is quite small and the infrastructure is not the best, the general classes are like every other government college you can imagine.
Even though I didn't opt for college hostel, I got to know that the food quality in the hostel is not very good.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The course that I picked is B.Sc. in Microbiology and it counts as a Grant in-aid course and therefore the yearly fees are very less compared to the courses which do not count as grant in-aid courses, Currently I'm paying 5,000Rs as Second year fees, which is pretty affordable. There are scholarships available for OBC and SC category students for Education fees and Hostel fees.

My experience at MBIT college

Likes

I liked the campus around the college but the college is not that big.
The teachers are well educated and their teaching method is also great

Dislikes

The cut off at MBIT college is very low so a student who scored 50% in his/her boards will easily get admission in this college
There is no proper facilities for the student who wants to play any sport

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

As I am in my first year of engineering in this college I will pay 89000 rs. I am a general category student so didn't get any of the benefits for paying fees. There is a MYSY scholarship for the OBC and SC ST category students. The first scholarship is MYSY scholarship which is for college fees, then another one is for hostel fees .

SEMCOM organises a plethora of events, including literary, fine arts and sports events.
The college library has a wide range of books.

Dislikes

Several books in the library are old editions.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

I took admission in the year 2023. The total fees for first year was ?50,000, after availing a scholarship for higher education (only applicable for first year students), the fees was reduced to ?40,000. Per semester fees during the first year was ?21,500 (including ?1,500 for University exams). In the second year however the college fees has increased by ?4000, thus increasing the per semester fees to ?28,500 (including University exam fees). The CVM University provides financial aid for meritorious students with financial issues.

The great books of my college

At the reception there are abundance of magazines and newspapers for informations to be provided to students, visitors, and any other person that walks in the facility
The interior of the college is beautiful. Very hygienic classrooms

Dislikes

Waking up early to go to college was very difficult for me especially in rainy seasons. And classes would normally start at 8.00am
Some classes would give tests everyday which was really tiring and stressful

Tuition fees were very affordable for us students coming from middle-class backgrounds. The annual fee is 25000. Teachers taught well and was an easy go to get scholarships at the institution. One semester cost almost 25k which included our books and desks with its.
