Admission to Sardar Patеl University in various courses involves various steps. Few important steps are as follows-

• Visit the Official Website:To start the admission process, go to the official website of Sardar Patel University – www.spuvvn.edu. Here you will find the latest admission updates, courses offered, and the online application form. Always read the admission notice carefully before applying.
• Registration to GCAS:For admission to these undergraduate & postgraduate programmes, quick registration on the GCAS portal is mandatory. Students can easily complete the quick registration process by using the link.
• Check the Eligibility Criteria:Before applying, check if you are eligible for the course. For example, for undergraduate (UG) courses, you must pass 12th class. For postgraduate (PG) courses, you need to complete graduation in a related subject. For PhD, a master’s degree is required along with an entrance test or NET qualification.
• Fill the Online Application Form:Go to the admission section on the website and click on the course you want to apply for. Register with your email and phone number. Then fill the form by entering your name, address, educational details, and other required information carefully.
• Upload Required Documents:After filling the form, you need to upload scanned copies of important documents like your 10th and 12th marksheets, graduation marksheet (for PG), recent passport-size photo, signature, ID proof (Aadhaar card), and caste certificate (if applicable).
• Pay the Application Fee:Once the form is filled and documents are uploaded, pay the application fee online. You can use a debit card, credit card, UPI, or net banking. The fee is usually around INR 300 to INR 500, depending on the course.
• Merit List or Entrance Test:Admission to most courses is based on your marks (merit-based). However, for some courses like MBA, MCA, or PhD, you may have to appear for an entrance exam. The university will notify the exam date or release the merit list on its website.
• Check Result or Selection List:After the merit list or entrance exam result is declared, check if your name is included in the selected candidates' list. If selected, the university will inform you about the next steps for admission.

Documents Required

• 10th Standard Examination Mark-sheet,
• 12th Standard Examination Mark-sheet, (If it is an online copy, it must be duly certified by the Principal of the School)
• Graduation Marksheet & Certificate(For PG admission)
• Post Graduation Marksheet & Certificate(For M.Phil & PHD admission)
• School Leaving certificate (If it is an online copy, it must be duly certified by the Principal of the School)
• Caste certificate for a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes(SC), Scheduled Tribes(ST) and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC), Economically Weaker Sections(EWS), issued by the authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat in this behalf (if applicable).
• For SEBC Non-creamy Layer (NCL) certificate of the family, issued for the relevant academic year, by the authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat in this behalf (if applicable).
• Certificate of Physical Disability, issued and duly signed by the Civil Surgeon/competent authority, in case of a Physically Handicapped candidate (if applicable).
• Certificate of Ex-Serviceman, duly issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board, Gujarat State or by the District Sainik Welfare Officer (if applicable).
• A copy of certificate of In-Serviceman duly issued by the Commanding Officer of the respective unit, in which he/she is serving (if applicable).
• 12th Equivalent certificate issued by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (for Diploma /ITI passed students) (if applicable).
• Such other certificates as the University may deem necessary at the time of document verification.
• Those who have gape in a study more than year have to submit an Affidavit for the period of gape.
