- My college has some of the best faculty members in terms of experience and practical knowledge.
- The studio was a great place to be exposed to the professional side of the field.
Dislikes
- There is supposed to be a placement cell mentioned in the official website of SPA, but it doesnt exist.
- The college fees are quite low in comparison to other NITs and IITs, but the mess fee of the hostel increased in the middle of the semester. This issue has not been addressed, and as a result, people might face hurdles.

- Canteen food is good here. The nescafe as well.
- The library has a huge variety of works from seniors and thesis of our almunis from over the last 50 years

- The administration is really bad here. They work like every other govt office. Very slow.
- The hostel condition while not bad is still not great too. The mess food may or may not give you an upset stomach. Be careful of MB hostel.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Architecture was the main goal but i ended up in planning. Looking at how I could work just a few hours lesser than architecture students, i thought this would be easier. Its not. You need to be careful while choosing this course. Its not just an easy pie.

- The faculties here are well experienced and guide us through a proper curriculum which kinda stressful yet it is what we need learn. The practice based learning is the base thing which actually differentiate us from the engineering course.
- The college value is pretty visible whether I working as an intern or going to conventions. Other colleges always sees us as different species and our work is obviously better
Dislikes
- Our college being and institute of national importance lacks infrastructure
- Our college can't even accommodate the students. We literally need to fight for hostel every year.
Placement Experience:
There are two internships (mandatory). One in the end of 2nd year another in the end of 3rd year. Both of them are of 6 weeks. It's all on us where we want to do and we select our best preference then college sends out letter of recommendation and then and if accepted good otherwise college will send u to DDA and other government offices. There are placements after bachelors but it's recommended to complete masters before doing job. It increases your market value exponentially

Course Curriculum Overview:
The future scope to apply and learn different courses is large. Planning is the next upcoming sector. Beneficial for civil services knowledge. Faculty have more than 30 years of experience in field/teaching. Term exams are not difficult to prepare but difficult to score.

- I'm so glad that I got really good faculties from this college.
- The ambience we get in hostel will never get anywhere in Delhi

- Our hostel is 10km far away from the college
- Admin doesn't work properly as we know it's a government institute.
Course Curriculum Overview:
SPAD is the place where we can get India's best faculty. And it is the best college for planning students as well as architecture students. The faculties are good and supportive. The main highlight of our college is our library. The college curriculum is really good.

- Placement cell leading to lower packages and mostly unpaid internships
Placement Experience:
Placement cell is very weak in college for undergraduate courses. Maximum package in the range of 4-6 lakhs per annum. The majority of the students apply for master in planning courses or MBA. Eligibility for government jobs is also after master's in planning courses.

- I liked how the school has a good balance of all type of faculties
Dislikes
- The only discouraging fact is the infrastructural limits of the college
Course Curriculum Overview:
The faculty are top of the line, having a vast experience and expertise in the field. There are plenty of faculty and maintain a good student-to-faculty ratio. There are all types of faculty contractual, Permanent and visiting faculty so as to maximise the output and reach of knowledge available to the students.
Likes
- The night life of hostel is good. The place is always energetic.
- The relation of senior and junior is wonderful with no ragging in the campus.
Dislikes
- The over work in architecture department.
Placement Experience:
The college hardly provides placement but in the architecture department the placement goes as high as 20 lakhs and in the planning department it goes up to 12 lakhs. The average package is 6 lakhs. I am thinking of a master's in environment planning.
Likes
- Unique Course with vibrant campus culture.
- Less students as compared to iits and nits.
Dislikes
- Campus Is very old and small with poor infrastructure.
- Hostel is 10 km far away from the college.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is very diverse and not restricted to any particular domain. Faculties are well qualified with PhDs. And the faculty-to-student ratio is also fine. Although the teaching methods are a bit traditional.
Placement Experience:
7th sem onwards for campus placements. Offers are made for about 20 percent of students of the class. people apply for masters and pursue higher studies ( about 25 percent ). Rest have pre-placement offers. I plan on applying for jobs after the degree.
Remarks:
Positive was mixed of cultures . Nice campus . Hygiene building . We have the honor like we are studying in central government University and it was among best three Universities which offer architecture and planning courses . Negative was bad director .
