- Canteen food is good here. The nescafe as well.
- The library has a huge variety of works from seniors and thesis of our almunis from over the last 50 years
Dislikes
- The administration is really bad here. They work like every other govt office. Very slow.
- The hostel condition while not bad is still not great too. The mess food may or may not give you an upset stomach. Be careful of MB hostel.
Internships Opportunities:
Internships you need to look for them yourself. The college/faculty members will give you a recommendation list of places you can go for. Paid interships are a hard fit to get. Unpaid govt interships help with your CV but then again, its unpaid. It does give you a different type of experience though.

- The campus is too small for the vast amount of students
- The hostel too far from the college and we have to pay extra for the travel charges since there is no services from the college's side after giving the hostel some 6.7kms far
Internships Opportunities:
No intership opportunity are given through the college although in our 8th semester we have to get our internship experience but all that is to be done by ourselve with no help from the college we apply for the jobs on any company or ferm and then we get our experience
Likes
- The faculties here are well experienced and guide us through a proper curriculum which kinda stressful yet it is what we need learn. The practice based learning is the base thing which actually differentiate us from the engineering course.
- The college value is pretty visible whether I working as an intern or going to conventions. Other colleges always sees us as different species and our work is obviously better
Dislikes
- Our college being and institute of national importance lacks infrastructure
- Our college can't even accommodate the students. We literally need to fight for hostel every year.
Internships Opportunities:
We get jobs offered from multiple firms different each year. The jobs roles are mainly GIS specialist, assistant planners, etc. I have interned in WBHIDCO and INSTITUTIONAL SYSTEMS PLANNING CENTRE, each for 6 weeks. We generally work on sectors like transportation, urban and rural, environmental and also work in regional level. We also get jobs as policymakers but reaching that stage takes time. With experience the growth in this field is exponential.
Likes
- College has various weekly talks, discussions, meetings, etc. They bring in many well-known architects who are doing great in the profession.
- College had a very good professors. In the later years, the curriculum and the professors who teach them are very good.
Dislikes
- Due to various reasons, there is decline in the quality of professors in recent years.
- The infrastructure of the college is not good and students have to travel 10+ kms everyday from hostel to college.
Placement Experience:
The campus placement starts in last year. Oddly 30% students might get placed based on the specific year placement cell performance. Some good companies approach the college. But, in architecture field they aren't 100% relevant and it isn't a good criteria to judge a college.

- The faculty is super experienced and informative
- The culture of the place is extremely diverse and literally every festival is celebrated with equal enthusiasm
Dislikes
- The infrastructure really poor with improper labs and broken machines

There are several architectural firms of alumnis yjat hire people where as large scale firms like cpk hafeex contractor sanjay puri also cone for placement. Companies like asian paibts are also a part of this procedure.

- Teaching methods can vary and some students might find them traditional
- The quality of social interaction can depends on individual preference

- The academic pressure sometimes lead to overwhelming, leading to stress

From 5th year you are eligible for the campus placements And for internship u r eligible in 4 th year I don't know companies visited in this college as I m in 1st year now Highest and avg package depends upon the courses ...such as planning course get more package then architecture

- I like the classrooms and air conditioner In the class.
- I also like the fests in college. They are very interactive and interesting.
Dislikes
- I dislike my hostel facilities. Rooms are bad, food is average and washroom facility is really bad.
- The hostel infrastructure. The building is really old. It needs renovation.
Placement Experience:
From the 7th semester, students become eligible for placements. The highest placement is 10 lacs and the average package is 6 lacs. The percentage of students getting placement is low. People can get placement in private as well as government organizations too.
