People who are looking for better job opportunities need to stay away from this course. This is because the course offers everything but job assistance. You cannot depend on this course and expect offers from companies after completing the program. The brochure provided initially, the various job opportunities are mentioned which is quite misleading.

The course is conducted by the IIM Raipur faculty itself. UpTop has not much connection with the students at all. People join this course eager to switch domains or change jobs. But this course fails to help in any of this. The course is just a source of making free money and misleading people. So if you or anyone you know is going for this course, please stop them before they fall into the pit.

Whether a program is worth it or not depends on what you want from it. So I will try my best to answer this question generally. Let’s consider some scenarios and see where the Digital Marketing and Social Media strategy program is beneficial and where it’s not.

• If you already have a Digital Marketing role in an organization with 2 or more years of experience. This is because the IIM tag might help you boost your salary package and climb the hierarchy within your organization.
• If you want to switch your domain to Digital Marketing. This Certificate will be beneficial in this case as no matter how much experience you have, you are a fresher in this field. So for such people, it’s necessary that they take up relevant courses according to their current work profile. In such a scenario I will recommend you take up freelancing in Digital Marketing while you continue to work on your core profile. This will ensure that you change your career when you witness growth only.
• If you are a fresher who has just completed their graduation then Digital Marketing Program from a specialized institute is definitely a good choice.

My personal opinion is that specialized institutes are way better than IIMs to start a career in Digital Marketing. Rest is your choice.

Therefore, investing 80k in a course that may be of little use in fulfilling career goals may not be a wise decision.

Lastly, their communication and follow-up post-course may be poor, as they may leave the participant's WhatsApp group after the course is completed, delay the delivery of the course certificate, and may not respond to emails or even block you on WhatsApp.

In conclusion, it is suggested to stay away from UpTop as they have a reputation for being unprofessional and primarily focused on making easy money, rather than providing quality education and job assistance.
