My college experience

Likes

It was quite good experience in, IIM Raipur.
The mentorship experience was incredible.
There was hectic schedule in the college

Dislikes

It was quite far from the city and Junction.
Sports facility was not quite good. it needs to be approved
Mess has to be cleaned, and food charges should be decreased

Admission:

The course and the college is quite different from other IIMs. 2 tier colleges have fare chances to grow and my college had good ranking. So it make me to get admision to IIM Raipur. Fee is also less than other IIMs

The life in IIMRAIPUR

Likes

Campus life, the campus is great with different backgrounds of students
hostel facilities all time Wi-Fi water radiant cooling
No restrictions in going out of the campus. Just have to write name on register

Dislikes

Food, sometimes it is very rare that food quality is bad
Location of campus is outside the Raipur
Every day is hectic filled with quizzes assignment projects exams.

Admission:

Eligibility of course is you have to crack the entrance exam for MBA that is CAT. If you score more then different mba college will send u the application and you have to give the GD and PI. Sometimes they will just take PI

Likes

Overall experience is quite good. The campus is very pleasent and the weather is quite good here.
Overall ambience is very good and I really enjoying here
Academics is really nice. Professor really emphasizing on studies

Dislikes

Location in quite interior. Basic essentials purchase is bit far away.
Batch strength is way too high according to the new IIMs
Placement is quite tough according to marketing conditions

Admission:

Eligibility of course is depend on your CAT percentile and your past experience and academics. You can find application form in IIM website and application fees is 1200 and date would be in August to October. Reservation is based on caste and physical condition. Obc, sc, st have different criteria for admission and have different cutoff percentile. No I don't want any improvement.

Placements are quiet good here at iim raipur.
Campus life of IIM Raipur is amazing with a lot to do.

Dislikes

The academic rigor at IIM Raipur is quiet harsh

Admission:

IIM Raipur's admission process includes: PGP Eligibility : Bachelors degree with minimum 50% marks dot cad score with specific sectional and overall percentile cut offs are required Application :Register and apply through CAT .Keep a copy of application in payment receipt. Selection: Based on CAT scores from interview shortlisting followed by final selection considering CAT scores, interview performance, academic profile, work experience and diversity Documents: Class 10th and 12th certificates ,degree transcripts ,entrance exam scorecard ,photo id proof work experience certificates. Application details: Forms, fees and dates available on IIM Raipur's website Reservation: As poor government of India norms for SC St,NC-OBC,EWS, DAP categories. Improvements: Could focus on transparency streamline processes and a clear communication

IIM Raipur has a good student exchange program.

Admission:

Eligibility of the Course: Anyone who is interested for this course has to appear CAT and clear the cut-offs. If anyone is eligible for CAT then automatically he becomes eligible for this course as well. Where to find the application form, application fees and application dates: Application form will be available on the CAT website : www.iimcat.ac.in Application fees and application dates will be available on the college website: www.iimraipur.ac.in Details of Reservation Benefits: NC-OBC I think the admission process was very smooth here and is facilated by a student body named AdCom who are very helpful in answering/resolving any queries/issues.

Good place for management enthusiasts

Accommodation was good and comfortable. Single occupancy rooms were given with bed, mattress, table, chair, cupboard, and attached washroom
Food was good and with variety. Both veg and non veg food was there

Dislikes

Faculty. Some faculties were biased and rude
Rule of only wearing formals or semi formals for class
Campus is far from the city. It takes money and time to reach city

Admission:

Admission procedure was quite smooth Firstly, I had to give CAT exam, which is all India qualifying exam for management. After clearing the ST cutoff of year 2019 which was 50 percentile, I got called for CAP interview at Kolkata. There, I can give interview to get admission in baby IIMs. It was 2 step process. At first, we were given a topic in which we have to write essay. My topic was " Are electronic devices advantage of disadvantage to youth". After that, there was PI round, in which questions were asked about grades, extra curricular activities, personality and academics. Then I checked list of IIM Raipur. I was selected. I went to take admission. I brought all necessary documents and admission was smooth. There is a branch of IDBI Bank inside college campus, through which I got loan. One thing which can be improved during admission process is that they should allow 1 week for admission rather than the next day

Things you need to know before joining IIM raipur

Likes

Group studies and late night hangout and parties in campus
Foreign exchange, you can visit a lot of countries during this period

Dislikes

Schedule is very packed and wont get much time for personal things
you need to grow very fast need to cope up with others

If you want to get into IIM Raipur, you have to earn a certain score in the Cat exam, the application form is released by different IIMs every year so you need to search on Google directly. The application fee is around 2400 or more and reservations are available for different categories and gender as well.
