Frequency of exams has changed after mcc curriculum,there are 8 paper which came in internal ,not matter you are in which year ,you have to give exam of second year subjects along with third year and final year subjects

Good College but needs improvement

Likes

The college has good faculties and it has good environment for studying,
It has good infrastructure and recently the infrastructure is being upgraded
It has good sporty environment students play football , cricket , volley and badminton regularly

Dislikes

The college is in the middle of fields , it would have been better if it was surrounded by markets place
It has strict restrictions for hostellers , for going out you must have a gatepass and you cannot take it everyday only twice a week normally
The patient inflow is low so the exposure for the students is not adequate.

The course is 4+1 years , it has a yearly university exams while in other courses even in the mbbs there is semester based exams . Recently it has been heard that it will also follow the mbbs pattern of 5.5 year course and will include other extra subjects it would be good for the students.

Likes

The teaching quality. They try to provide us with the best teachers who guide us very well through the theory as well as the practicals
They try their best to listen to problems faced by students
The homely atmosphere of all the students

Dislikes

There is insects and worms in our food that we eat
Mess and college looks old. The hostel designs should improve
They need application for wherever we go. They included a shopping mart in their college but still need application for going there

Placement Experience:

Our college provide internship facilities to the pass out children After completing the degree we can either set up our own clinic or can work under any respectable doctor to gain more practice or can also apply for government hospital jobs

The college is having best environment for study
The patient inflow and outflow is good for practising medicine
The campus is huge, having library for studies

Dislikes

College don't have gym, not very well sports facility
Most of the time of college spent in studies only, very less events and cultural activities
Unidentified person can enter the college

The frequency of exam is 1 per month known as PCT is done for every completion of chapter The difficulty level depend on subject of course The curriculum is very hectic due to 8am to 5pm schedule. To serve the society, and want to become a doctor made me to choose the college having high ratio PG selection

the studies environment is there. Regular classes as well test take place in college.
Professors are kind enough to solve your doubts in the class and outside the class as well. Even some faculty also helped me with books i borrowed
Library has prep subscription tab so that students can study from there as well that's cool. Although i prefer books and it has a good collection of book

Dislikes

campus is still under construction.Hopping this is the last year of construction.
In time is very much strict for girls( not for the boys) which has it's pros and cons i personally don't like it because at times it a lot of fomo.
sports is something the college need to work upon. Again quite hopeful for this this one

Course Curriculum Overview:

So MBBS is a dream course for many. You'll love and hate the subjects at the same time at some point. you'll be given sneak picks of ever aspect while you are in the course. proffessor do organise little session for further studies and study methods. Various seminar and sessions will be helpful for the future doctors. People come from different parts of india even around the globe to share their experiences, knowledge in various conferences that occurs in the college itself.

i like the equality and the behaviour of the faculities of the college
the cleanliness of the college and the eqiuity present there
the hospital is linked to the college which help to interact

Dislikes

the fee structure is too much for the middle class family
the behaviour of the faculties is not good as compared to others
the fee structure present there is due to the premises of college due to presence of the costly equipment present there

the curriculum basically depends upon the subjects of each subject of the years which include physilogy anatomy biochemistry in first year and it increases and the final year includes medicine gyaecology

Study is very good teachers are very educated and explain each and every thing very nice
Practical skills and clinical exposure are very good
This college is best private medical college in Chattisgarh

Dislikes

Campus is not good very small campus and parking area are rush
Hostel as per charges is very expensive rooms are not big
Mess food is not eatable and every day same food repeated

Ayurveda career

Likes

Faculty is very good here and they make us understood things very sweetly. And we have library facilities
We have hospital in our college by this we get to learn treatment from 1st year only
We have very supportive seniors and batchmates . We have events time to time where we get to learn new things.

Dislikes

I don't like infrastructure of this college
Washroom are not cleaned regularly and do not incinator for sanitary pad
College do not participate in seminars and no educational trips

I took 3 drops preparing for MBBS and yet do not get MBBS then I got my name in govt bams college list after that I was very sad and I do talked with my parent mentor and I decided to go with bams yet not satisfied with course I hace choosen. I came to thos college we get 10 days curriculum where they told us opportunities and career for ayurved and slowly I started taking interest and right now I feel myself very lucky that I have taken very right decision that time

An inside of GMC Mahasamund

Since its a government medical college so fees is quite affordable
It's a new medical college we are the pioneer batch but the college is developing very fast
Proper number of faculties in each department is there

Dislikes

Since it's a new medical college so proper hostel is not present
Hostel is temporary and far away from the college so transport issue
College canteen is absent only hospital canteen is there

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since the degree is of high value it gives you quite good money along with job security and prestige. The curriculum teaches me patience. The curriculum should be more interactive. The frequency and timings of exam is really hectic and high difficulty level but necessary for the profession.
