The course curriculum includes both theory as well as practical exams so it makes us learn both the knowledge part and the real life application part. The timing of exam is the internals are conducted in an interval of every 2-3 months and after that pre university is conducted and after 1- 1.5 months the final university exam is held

The internship is provided in our own college The stipend given is 1200/- only But the interns are given permission to practice outside our college too So they are given chance to encounter with different cases

Our college provide internship facilities to the pass out children After completing the degree we can either set up our own clinic or can work under any respectable doctor to gain more practice or can also apply for government hospital jobs

The total yearly fees that I am currently paying is 271000/- Tuition fees is 21000/- Caution money is 10000/- Registration and admission fees together was 30000/- The fees of sc/st/obc is 120000/- The state also provides for scholarship program for backward caste children

The main festival that is celebrated here is Ganesh chaturthi It is celebrated 10 days . Each day a different program is connected every morning and evening There is also annual function every year They also celebrate each occasion like Saraswati Puja,navratri,christmas, new year There is also inter college and intra college sports competition held every now and then

Hostel facility is mor or less okay as compared to the fees structure We are provided with coolers in each room and geysers for hot water The food quality is little low The food is purely vegetarian The hostel price is 60000/- per annum

I applied for odisha university of agriculture and technology in Bhubaneswar. I did get a place there but the admission dates for maitri College and ouat clashed with each other so I had no choice but to choose any one of them I chose this college over ouat as my aim from the start was to become a doctor. So as this was close to my dream of becoming a doctor I chose doing dentistry over agriculture The admission process included the student should qualify the neet score which was around 180 I am happy with my choice

The teaching faculty here is very well educated They try to guide us in every way possible They are approachable The faculty whom I like the most is my DADH teachers. I can understand their teaching the best The faculty i didn't like was my Biochemistry teacher. He is a little hard to please. There are 2 internal exam 1 pre university and 1 final university exam The internals and pretty university exam papers are checked by our college professor but the university exam papers are distributed to different colleges for correction The internals are realatably easier but the university and pretty university are a little tough as compared The overall course curriculum is manageable

The in timings for girls is 8p.m but for boys it is till 12a.m The college is located in a nearly isolated area so the safety here in night Is questionable Ist better not to go out at night The hostel gates for girls closes at 9pm
